Why is there no picture,no sound?

Your tv is fine! The power supply has a short or defective component. I suspect its a transistor or capacitor(s) on the power supply. These are easily replaced. This may not fix the entire problem. Its possible that the inverter board has shorted or malfunctioned as well due to a domino like effect caused by a failed component on the power supply.
Worst case scenario the entire PS (Power Supply) needs to be replaced. The cost for PS are roughly $50 (but as much as $200) and easily replaced. My charge is $40 to replace a board.
Have it fixed by someone you trust. It shouldnt cost more than $100 and be good as new when repaired!

What component do I need to replace to fix my plasma TV?

Fault in the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

I have sound but not picture what can be wrong and how do i fix it and at what cost

it seems the on screen display also not there. there are lamps fixed on sides of screen. it lit the screen & u see the picture. either the lamps are defective or their power supply is defective. one can find these after opening the back cover & checking the power supply of lamps. if power supply is defective, it is replacable item. but if lcd panel is defective then the whole panel needs to be replaced. it is a costly item may be it will cost 70% of the price of lcd tv.

My Power Supply Burnt Out Can I Get It Repaired?

A power supply can't be repaired. The replacement cost is probably about what a repair would run anyway,or less.
Pick up a new one,and you also pick up a new warranty.
Good or bad, please rate my post?

Screen is black

The likely problem is the power supply - and if you can open the tv and look up the part number of the power supply, i think you'll be surprised how much they cost. Sometimes you can fix them yourself by replacing faulty capacitors.

Put US-made 120 V Toshiba into 240 V electric current. It blew.

Did the smoke come from the computer or the power supply. Most of the power supply boxes for notebooks are multi voltage and can auto switch from 110 to 220. If the smoke came from the power supply box it may not have damaged the computer. If it came from the system, the power stage of the motherboard cooked and it will need replaced. If it is an older laptop it will probably not be worth fixing as it may cost more than half of the cost or a new one. I would try using a different power supply to test it and see if it comes on. If not, you may be looking at getting your data transferred to a new computer.
Best of luck

No picture

with most startup issue with this model there usually is a blink code sequence on power led on front of set. regardless of sequence though you would want to isolate problem by disconnecting y main from power supply and check voltages on power supply and if they come up replace the y main and y buffer boards located on left side of tv looking from back and if voltages do not come reconnect y main and disconnect x main and check voltages again and if still not coming up reconnect and verify vs on command on pin 2 of logic interconnect and if 3 volts present replace power supply and if 0 volts present replace ssb
