Sansui TVM1300 13 inch TV - Set Auto Channel does not work. I go into the Menu and start Auto Channel and it does not find any channels. Yet I can manually enter the channel number and it will go to that channel. Also, Channel UP/DOWN goes thru a list of favourites. Is there a way to RESET the list to include all channels? I can use a MENU function but that will be tedious to Add EACH channel. This Sansui model is lost without its remote control so don't every lose the remote control.

Sounds like AFT, AGC voltages are not proper. Contact any service technician. The main board of your TV has to be troubleshooted.
If the main system control memory IC is bad, this kind of fault can occur. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. Otherwise, it won't go. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Before replacing it, try a reset to this set, and then check.
There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here.

You'll most likely need a Sansui remote made to work with your specific model TV. I have similar problems with my Toshiba TV. Check eBay.

Connecting a sansui 13 inch to a converter box

1) Connect the converter box to a good digital TV antenna and position the antenna as high and as close to a window as possible.
2) Set the converter box 'output switch' to an unused channel for your area. (Usually 2, 3 or 4.)
3) Connect the output of the converter box to the 'antenna input' on the TV.
4) Turn on both units and set the TV channel to the same output channel selected above.
5) Now select TV channels using the converter box remote only. The TV should receive all converted channels on the preselected channel.
6) Adjust the TV antenna for the best reception for all channels.

My TV picture is not coming in and neither is all my channels.

Perhaps you have the TV set to receive analogue TV rather than digital (DBV). Consult the manual about receiving a digital signal.

Hdlcd19wb series a - How do I get the channels in digital, rather than analog? I can't even click on the "dtv signal" option in the menu. All the channels listed to add or delete are analog.

Put the HDLCD19WB on a channel. Press menu on remote. Select channel on the sceen. Press enter on remote. Select auto channel memory on the screen. Press enter on the remote. Use the right arrow button on the remote to set the signal type to air for antenna or cable. Select automatic search on the screen. Press enter on the remote. Wait for search to finish. Check channels with the channel up and down buttons on the remote.
If you have any digital channels you should have them now.
The dtv signal option in the channel menu is only available when tv is tuned to a digital channel.

My sansui tv is hooked up to my cable; it gets channels 4 - 13 beautifully...but nothing else. how do i program it to receive the rest of my cable channels? It's a 2004 tv.

you need to go into the menu section of your tv and find the channel auto program and let it start and finish completely {the menu should go off it self when its done} then you should be good.

My TV says "DIGITAL CHANNEL STRENGTH IS LOW" even though it is connected to a RCA ANT1450 antenna.

I just looked at a TV last night for this. I don't know what you've tried yet, but I was getting that message until I went into the menu and selected the automatic channel scan. I forget what it was actually called, but you'll find it. After that, 19 digital stations came in beautifully with a cheap set of rabbit ears. (The scan will also find analog channels, which you can delete later on.) Good Luck.

Switching singnal

If you are using an antenna or regular cable without a cable box, put the tv on an analog channel. Go into the menu. Select the middle icon at the top of the screen. Go down to the TV/CABLE line. Select either TV (for antenna) or CABLE (for regular cable) on the right. Go down to AUTO CH MEMORY and press the volume+ (right arrow) button. Wait for the channel search screen to clear. Check all of your channels using the channel up button until you come back to the channel you started on.
