Where can I get a setup disc - Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer

If you are using the original remote or one which matches all of the functions, make sure that no DVD or VHS tape is being played and that the recorder is on. Make sure that there is sufficient space left on the disc. (The space needed depends on chapter/disc titles.) Then press Setup on the remote; it should be below the arrow keys but the position may vary. Use the Up/Down arrows to select System Setup and press Enter. Select Disc Setup and press Enter. Select Finalise and press Enter. Select Start with the Right/Left arrows and press Enter. Wait for the procedure to finish.

Note: only discs recorded on this particular device can be finalized on the DV-RW250H. On some other Sharp DVD recorders, the Disc Menu is accessed directly from the Setup menu.

Usually this would signal a bad disc, but if the discs have been known to be good, then your lens may be failing.

put recorded disc in tray and let load
press setup on remote
use the arrow keys to the right of the setup button
press right arrow to highlight disc setup (on screen display)
press enter
use up down keys to scroll down to finalize disc
push enter
right left arrows for yes no
highlite yes then enter
disc will burn

GO TO THE WEBSITE OF THE BRAND OF YOUR COMPUTER AND MOST TIME YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD A SETUP DISC OR ORDER ONE AT LEAST. AT THE WORST YOU COULD GET AN OVERNIGHT DELIVERY ON A DISC AND BE BACK IN BUSINESS IN 24-36 HRS. THEN, MAKE COPIES OF THE DISC! BUT, MOST BRANDS WILL HAVE SETUP DISCS AVAILABLE. TRY THEIR WEBSITES. With regard to your setup disc, you may call printer manufacturer and request for a copy of your printer setup disc. You may also try downloading the printer driver from their support website.

1. Press SETUP
2. Press PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER
3. "VerX" is displayed (X=RC)
4. Select the RC with RIGHT and LEFT (255=Codefree)
5. Press RETURN

Been checking out my m/c and found that there are many -r & -rw discs the m/c does not recognise which gives rise to this problem. However the m/c does recognise VERBATIM discs and I have been able to record and dub to them with no problems.
