Since last week the answer ''on'' light just keeps flashing and it doesn't works when somebody calls me. I have tried unplugging and replugging but it just keeps flashing.

  • grolon16 Feb 19, 2009

    It doesn't works because when I enter to the Menu option, ''Answering device'' and I hit the ok buttom it doesn't do anything. Also, in the ''base'' the answer light keeps flashing (like turning off and on instantly) but when I touch the button it makes a ''beep sound'' and it doesn't do anything too.

    I see, try removing all the batteries from all units and wait for 5 mins. after five min, reload all batteries and, try the procedure once more. if the problem persist, it may be an on board software glitch.(defective model)

    Heres another tip. The answering system settings are locked with a default code. try this (111). this may be the reason why it wont let you in to the option so you can turn it off. Someone may have set this default code. (111)

    Remote code
    A remote code must be entered when
    operating the answering system
    remotely. This code prevents
    unauthorized parties from listening to
    your messages remotely. The default
    setting is “111”.
    1 {MENU}
    2 {V}/{^}: “Answering device” i
    {OK}
    3 {V}/{^}: “Settings” i {OK}
    4 {V}/{^}: “Remote code” i {OK}
    5 Enter the desired 3-digit remote
    code. i {OK} i {OFF}

I have a belkin wireless modem router model F7D1401 v1 and a week ago it would be normal then flash orange and stop working. however now it is a constant orange with the WPS button flashing orange.

I think you have the upper light blinking and lower light solid. Is that right? The upper light blinking means that the connection to your ISP is not working. Try unplugging/replugging the Ethernet cable in the top port (probably yellow and labeled "WAN" or "DSL" or something). Check the other end of that cable. If you have another Ethernet cable, try swapping it out.

If none of that works, call your ISP to check the connection.

The lights are flashing and won't stop. I tried to unplug and replug same results ...what should I do?

As far as I know, the flashing lights are an indicator that the slow cooker is on, but awaiting instructions. You need to put in a time and then a temperature and then it will stop.

I personally find the power button very disconcerting and keep having to stop myself pressing it once I've programmed the slow cooker, and accidentally switching the thing off.

I have a lexmark 260dn and within 2 weeks have had to rpelace toner twice and light is still on?

I have owned the same printer, make sure the cartridges are fully installed properly (pushed in place correctly) then check if now, i suggest that you possibly unplug it and then replug, that doesn't help maybe trying to reinstall the hardware to it from your computer. But if neither work you could just cover the light up sense you know its full and works.

Four red flashing lights are appearing on the power switch

Your xbox does not detect an AV cable. Unplug the cables from both the xbox and the tv. replug them and try again. If this doesn't help, borrow a friend's cables and try it. If that fixes the problem, you can order new cables online and get back to playing. If that doesn't work, you need to contact customer support and send it in for repairs.

Light on printer keeps flashing orange. Router is working, if not I could not have wireless, right??? My printer is next to computer and router. Help

If your printer was wirelessly working before, try to unplug/replug your printer to the power outlet. Doing this usually fixes minor communication issues.
If that doesn't help, please reset the wireless network adapter for your printer. On the printer operator panel, press Setup button -> Network Setup -> Reset Network Adapter to Factory Defaults. The WiFi light will momentarily turn off, then turns on steady orange. You can now reconfigure your printer for wireless connection.

Answer light flashes, answering machine doesn't answer. have no manual.

Possible solution.

I have the same problem -- I returned the phone and got a new one. 3 weeks later, the power went out -- same thing. Light flashes but phone won't work.

I called Panasonic and they advised me to remove all the batteries from the handsets, and unplug all the bases for 'a few minutes'. This did nothing...when I plugged everything in, answering machine still would not work.

I spoke to my brother who is an electrician, and he said the base has a 'capacitor' in it, and will not drain down (so phone can be reset) unless it's unplugged for at LEAST a few hours. He suggested I unplug everything and remove the batteries and leave it all overnight. Will attempt this and let you know if this is a resolution.

I had that once or twice on my phone. What I did was hit on, off, on, off, about 10 times. It quit for me. Digital stuff is great when it works. Pain in the @$$ when it doesn't. LOL

Try unplugging your corded base unit, then replug. It should reset. Then you'll be able to go in and delete those messages.
