How can i fix Epson Printer Error Code 0x97?

There does not appear to be a single solution that always fixes this error message. For some users, procedures for cleaning the nozzles works. For others, switching the particular software program you are attempting to print with works. For a considerable number, contacting epson about your warranty (a year) yields a replacement printer being shipped. The approach from Epson for tackling this problem appears to be powering the printer off, detaching peripherals, reseating cartridges, waiting 5 minutes, an re-powering. Here is a link offering variations of this: https://tonixcomp.net/epson-error-code-0x97/

Which ever fix is employed, the ones which do NOT work include replacement of drivers, scanning for viruses, and firmware updates. Hope this saves you some time. I also note that this error message is not confined to a single epson model but it is generally a good thing to supply that model number as well as your OS when researching a problem.

How do i epson error code 0x9e?

The printer is bad. Epson printers are known for the 0x9e code. It would cost more to repair than to just get a new printer.

My Epson 4530 was printing jus fine and stopped suddenly. It is listed now as offline. What can I do? I have tried re-setting turning printer, computer, WiFi off and on again.

While printer is on, pull the power plug and then hold the on button for about a minute. Replug the witch and see what happens.

If no results try completely uninstalling the software and reinstalling it.

See if printer works with usb wire connection. If it does then the problem lies with your wireless network/setup.

My Computer is connected to theLexmark X5470and suddenly refuses top print. I have tried unplugging and reinserting all the connections and rebooting. Noluck!

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Rebrick (pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds).

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print again.

You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/dbCiI6. Select your operating system, download and execute the file.

If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Was printing fine. I turned the printer off and it won't go back on. Everything is plugged in correctly.

Possible hardware failure, unfortunately.
Turn it off. Then unplug it from your computer and unplug it from the wall too.
Plug it directly into a working power source. Then turn it on.

Printer stopped working claiming the jobs have been 'stopped' and giving no explanation.

Hi Plug out the usb cable from the cpu. Try deleting the printers from the printers window(START, Printers and Faxes), uninstall the software. Power off the printer and unplug power adapter. After the printer has been deleted from the printer window, plug it back in and reconnect back to computer. Then try a new installation of the printer and software. The pending documents that have been stopped should now not be in the spooled documents.
