When I first used my television teletext worked on a few channels. For some reason, now that my mother wants to use teletext, all the digital channels notify me with the same message: "no teletext received" If you could help me that would be great.

Unplug the set for 12 to 24 hours. if that does not help, go into channel search but make sure the cable box is plugged in and turned on. If that does not work call out a tech to sort out your problem. Experimenting is fun at times, no insult intended, but its not the best thing to do with a TV set.

On the TV remote: 1. press MENU external entry is highlight 2. right press outer circle scroll down to video 4 (satellite entry assignment _ it could be video 3 or another number selected depending of your configuration) 3. right press outer circle if you on TV is settle on an HD channel, on the left corner of your screen you will see 1080i _ hope it will fix your problem. It could be helpful to read your manual. 1431

Problems described are related to Backlight.It is possible that backlights of affected area have become weak.
You may need to contact the company for repairs and Yes the Repairs may not be cheap.
