I have a problem connecting office laptop to Internet through N300. The following happens in sequence 1. laptop secures wifi SSID - No issues 2. CISCO VPN connectivity pass through - No issues 3. CISCO Clean access agent screen appears displaying 'Performing Automatic logon' - Issue appears. Here, The dialog screen does not go away and unable to connect Internet. my gut feeling is, there's firewall/port in router which hinders the last stage of connectivity. Belkin Support Folks, I need your valuable support to fix the issue. Please guide me to resolution.
All configuration can be done with the router GUI.
Firewalls: Server Side
Having a server side firewall is the typical configuration on many systems. There is only one method for doing this, whether
you use telnet or ssh: map a port to be forwarded to the server in the firewall router. It is not advised that you use telnet
from the Internet for security reasons; that is usually why you have a firewall.Decide which method of connectivity will be allowed, and determine
what port you will use to forward to this service. If there
is only one server involved, you can use port 22 for ssh or 23 for
telnet and forward them straight through to the server. But if
there are several servers involved and they do not have public IP
addresses, you will need to pick different ports on the
firewall router and let the router forward those ports to the
different internal servers.

Look at the number of users you have enabled in the router. If you only have 3 and you are using 4 computers, you could be getting the kind of behavior you are describing based on how many computers you have connected at the time.

Make sure you entered the same key exactly the same way in both the router and the computer. Also, make sure you have selected a Security protocol that is supported by the computer. Some versions of Windows do not support WPA. XP supports it but really doesn't like to auto detect it. If it's a HP laptop make sure you are using a communications channel other than 6. Some routers give you an option to select the channel HP computers don't like working with channel 6.
