Are you using an auto-focus m4/3 lens? I have about 20 lenses for this camera and only 1 of them is an auto-focus m4/3 lens. I have an adapter so I can use my 4/3 lenses on it in auto-focus mode along with other various mounts (including cctv) that do not support auto-focus. So if you are using a non-auto-focus lens, you will need to manually focus the pictures.
If you are certain it is an auto-focus lens, are you sure you have it set to auto-focus?
What settings do you have your camera set to (aperature mostly is what I'd like to know)? Try adjusting your aperature to be small (to increase your DOF).
Also what lens are you using and what is your focal distance? It could be your lens has a larger or shallower focal distance than what you are trying to achieve (like a macro lens doesn't work that great for landscape photography or a telephoto lens doesn't work great for macro photography).
Last thought: is your lens or sensor dirty? A dirty lens can cause focusing issues if it is REALLY dirty and a dirty sensor can too (sensor is a bigger pain to clean. I strongly recommend taking it to the pros as they scratch really easily). Dirty lenses can be cleaned with a blower and a lint free cloth and rubbing alcohol if those 2 things don't clear it out.

Lens blurred

To come closer to the colprit, if you shoot a picture and you put it on a PC (tablet) does the picture still look blurred?
If it does, the most likely is the image sensor or the lens are broke. If the picture is ok on the PC, only the display is bad.
Are you sure you don't see anything on the lens? Is perhaps a little dent on the outside visable? That could be caused by a fall with the lens outside the body.

Picture not focused at 12x zoom

It's probably something to do with a lag or jam on your shutterspeed. so when you hit the button, and move you get a little blur. If its not this you might need to have your lens cleaned inside and out due to the camera zooms and catches the blurs on the lens after zooming so far in. I would recommend taking it to your local camera shop for adjustments and cleaning.

My lens is all blurry

Question is, Is your lens blurred,or are all your pictures blurred?
If you can see the front of the lens is really dirty, you could try to clean it with a lens pen. One side has a soft brush to remove the dust and perhaps other debris. Please try to remove debris with a little presuerd air. If only smear is left on the lens, you than can use the other end of a lens pen. It has a very soct pad, with wich you than can remeove smear.
If the lens looks ok, please don't touch it.
Perhaps you don't take enough time to let the camera focus on the subject.
When making a picture, press the shutter release button half, till he AE/AF indicater flashes and you hear a beep, then you can press down and make the picture.
If you are making pictures without a steady hand, pictures also can come out blurred. Special when there is little light avalible.
Then choise a higher ISO.
I hope this helps. You still can fine the manual online.

I have a nikon 55-200mm lens for the D40X digital camera. The pictures I take are blurred. I use the auto settings. the 18-55mm lens works fine and there are no problems with the picture clarity. Is the...

One of a few things might be happening
1. Photos being taken at high zoom (i.e. 200mm) are susceptible to camera shake, even though the lens is focusing properly. The solution here is use a tripod, zoom out, or steady yourself.
2. Photos being taken without flash when flash should really be used will result in motion blur (which is slightly different than camera shake). This is due to the camera using a longer shutter speed to let more light in, with the side effect being that objects will move while the shutter is open, blurring the picture. The solution here is to use a flash, or take pictures in better light.
3. The camera may be focusing on something other than what you intended.
3. If you are taking photos in good light with a steady hand, and the camera is choosing the correct subject to focus on, then yes, the lens could need readjusted, though this is not a very likely scenario.
If the lens is "hunting" for focus, that could be a sign that something is amiss.
A local camera shop can verify the accuracy of focus for your lens.

Lens blur

That means that lens are either misplaced or dirty inside.

The lens assembly must be taken apart at a repair shop to fix this problem.

Canon Powershot A75 blurred LCD display

It sounds like the focus element in your lens is not functioning properly. Does the lens retract completely when you turn off the camera? When you push the button does the camera attempt to focus the image? If you do not see any change in the image when you push the button, and do not hear any sound - then your focus motor is either jammed or malfunctioning. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
