How do you get the Pioneer DEH-P670MP car stereo cd player off of mute?

This cabel was in contact with earth and it was the reason, why you have Mute on the display.

to fix this press and hold the source button till unit turns off the source button switches from CD - radio...................once your unit powers off........press and hold the function button down till the clock appears in display you should also hear a beep when this happens.........press the function button repeatedly until the telephone feature appears now switch by pressing the skip button to ATT (Attention) once this is done press the source button to power on the pioneer unit simply turn up the volume and problem should be solved......
