I didn't switch the voltage from 115v (US) to the 230v (which we use in Aus). The lights came on briefly but it's now dead, it's very upsetting. I've taken off the back to have a look but can't locate the fuse. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Trace the inout power wiring. You will find a fuse someplace very near where the power comes in. Note that they MAY be one of several types that don't look like common glass fuses. ALSO a common thing is that the fuse is in a little "boat" that is right adjacent to where a standard line cord like on tower PC's use. This boat has to be pried out to get at the small fuse in it. Choose the right size fuse for the 230 v operation.
Testimonial: "Great work Fred, thanks mate, it was in the compartment on the power input. Just used pliers to pull it out, like a drawer. Glass tube fuse was inside. Thanks again"
