SOURCE: Direct TV remote

I think you mean Hughs when you're referring to your direct Tv remote? And you want that remote to turn on/off your Sylvania Tv, right?
I'd need to know the Hughs model number on the remote to know if it's a four or five digit code requirement. But here's a site that might help. http://www.remotecodelist.com/remotes/
Scroll down to Hughs and that link should take you to the DTV site where they have a wealth of info regarding codes. Find your model number remote control and you should have a list of possible codes to try.
If all this doesn't work let me know and I'll research sme more.
Good Luck!
Bill

SOURCE: need code for SRC2213X with Radio Shack Remote (Sylvania TV)

I was having trouble finding a code that worked for my new RCA Digital TV converter box, model DTA800B1, remote for use with the Sylvania SRC2213X Color TV/VCR Combo. I found another site that had a guy saying he stepped through and found code 116 worked. I tried this and it worked for me too! If you are using a 4 digit code, probably 0116.

Here is where I found my help (if you want to see the original post): http://tv.manualsonline.com/ex/thread/view/idThread/777397

Tv want turn on so i install power supply board and it still want come on

Good day!!!!

I need to know if the LED lights ON or blinking if that so how many blinks?

If you have multimeter kindly try this procedure:
  1. Open the back cover.
  2. Look at the power supply board.(it is usually connected directly to the power cord)
  3. Get your multimeter (range in DC).
  4. measure all output to the power supply such as 5vdc,3.3vdc,12vdc,etc..It is usually indicated on the power supply output connector.
  5. Place your black test probe to the ground and the red one is for the positive voltage as stated above and also measure VS and VA voltage..
Then let me know what are the readings of all voltages together with the original voltage marked on those voltages..

I have a sylvania 32 inch tv everytime i turn it on the green light blink then goes back to red

Hello,

You need to check the output voltages of the power supply to see which one goes off. It may be due to short circuits some where.if otherwise, power supply board is dead, do you know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hope this will help in solving the problem...

Power light just blink on my sylvania lc320ss9a lcd

It can be the power supply is unstable due to bad DC filter caps, or it is sensing short circuits caused by backlight board, you will have to take it apart and start by visual inspection first, look for bad caps iwth leaking/bulging tops (caps can look OK but can have high ESR). Then you need to do voltages checking.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:

Tv will not turn on

The green blinks are an error code indicating a specific fault, your power supply developed an 'over-voltage' issue and needs to be serviced at your local repair shop.......

My sylvania 19' tv (model #LC195SL9A) keeps going to standby instead of turning on

I was having this same problem with this same model. I would turn it on, the green light would blink a few times, then it would go into standby. After repeating this 10-15 times it would finally turn on. I called customer service and they said to try resetting the TV by unplugging it for 30 minutes. If that didn't work, they said to call a service center to see if they could figure it out.

Well I unplugged it for 30 minutes, plugged it in, turned it on and Whalla! It works! I am so glad it wasn't something else.
