I need a hard reset for my tecno N7 phone as it gives an error message and i cant do anything on it please help as it is urgent

Try pressing and holding the power button to see if you get access to power-on/power-off options, or immediately pressing and holding the power-off button when you turn it on. You are looking for the option to start up in Safe Mode. If you can get into Safe Mode, then you should be able to delete the offending game.

Looks like you are trying to do a factory reset because why? Password protected and you don't know the password?
IF you are the true owner the manual will tell you how to do a factory reset.
I DO NOT ANSWER these types of questions because of the huge problem of phones, tablets. etc. are stolen..
If yours is not in that catagory take it to a "Geek" shop and have them do the reset; you do something wrong in the bootloader menu you can and will wipe everything out and brick the tablet.

What model is the phone?
Try Holding Power and Volume buttons instead and please mention the outcome here.

hard reset it go to youtube type make and model of your tablet type hard reset then it should with few videos to hard reset follow the video and it should work

Look. It happened to me and drove me crazy. I was about to brick my new mobile phone. In my case it was the "Moon call log" icon on the home screen. Believe it or not when I remove the icon the error message no more appears when I restart the mobile phone. Then again when I place it (the icon on home screen) the annoying error message "Unfortunately, Launcher has stopped" will comeback again. In your case it could be any icon or widget.
I solved the problem by uninstalling the application and installing it back from Play Store unlike what I did before by installing it from the .apk file.
