Search the site by type in the "Brand Name" (Exclude the model number) to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

You will need to reformat the computer again. You may want to try pressing F11 when you first turn on your laptop and recover it from there.
If the issue remains after this and you are getting blue screens this could mean that there might be a hardware issue and you will need to contact your laptop's support line as it might need to be fixed.

The horzontal lines would have to do with the screen unless you see those on the actual video footage on the memory stick.

Fact is I have this cam and know everything about it by experience the issues with these cameras one drop and there basically toast.

Now if there is not horizontal lines on the video itself and the video is clear the issue would be the LCD on the unit.

my sharp tv was like that to but our tv color was blue with also gray horizontal lines i did cheack all d caps resis... etc dont know what to do LoL.

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung, JVC, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Akai, Pioneer, Hitachi, Zenith, and others. You can get a convergenece repair kit from the link below.

Common Symptoms include....

• Screen looks 3D
• Colors don't line up
• One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
• Screen is bowed or warped.
• TV shuts off after powering on - TV may also make a chirping noise.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the settings menu then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move RED and BLUE in all directions - up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions or cant move them far enough your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

Note: If you TV has as flash focus or magic focus button only try pressing the button. If it fails to fix the convergence your need to fix it. See below for a solution

CONVERGENCE SOLUTION

You will need to replace the convergence chips and possibly some convergence resistors and pico fuses.
This is a a fairly easy DIY job if you know what you are doing. If you have never done this before we would advise calling a shop or if you want to do it yourself get a complete kit with instructions and support from www.TvRepairKits.com

the video playback is sampled off the video out and independently processed sorta like a TV signal to project on the lcd screen.
horizontal lines means you lost sync circuit and needs troubleshooting. Hopefully maybe a bad connection with a ribbon cable for the ICs and components are hard to change and jammed tight. I would order a video board.

Most DVD players today are very inexpensive.
If your system is working well otherwise, I suggest purchasing a new DVD player. Try that solution. If for any reason it does not work then another problem may exist which may include an issue with your TV!
