I am stuck in silent mode

Phone won't ring out loud. I have used the side button and gone through the choices and it says ring med/loud and yet all it does is vibrate. What to do? The phone is my neighbor's and she no longer has the manual.

Thanks for the referral to the manual. It was useful and confirmed that what we were doing is what we needed to do... It just didn't work.

Interestingly enough, there was no mention in the manual about the "silent mode" which is what the phone tells us it is in. We try to change the vibrate to ring (which is now set to ring), but still it vibrates.

Something is likely wrong with the phone.
