I've tried leveling the machine and even with a small, lite load it still shakes violently and shuts itself down and displays the E6 error code. I can't figure out why it shakes so violently. It happens with every load we do now. Any thoughts on what to look for?
When the washer goes into spin cycle it is suppost to start at a slow speed and continue to increase speed (to a maximum of 800 RPM) as the water leaves the clothes. Your washer is going directly to 800 RPM which causes the washer to shake and stop giving you the E4 code. The control board that controls this speed increase must be replaced.
Samsung p 801 shakes violently
Put a 40lb bag of cat litter on it. guaranteed.
Hi
If your washing machine shakes violently or if there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
