Printer works good but the red light keeps blinking
Maybe the toner is low... According to the manual, a blinking red light:
• A minor error is occurring and
the printer is waiting for the error
to be cleared. When the problem
is cleared, the printer resumes
printing.
• The toner cartridge is low. Order
a new toner cartridge. You can
temporarily improve print quality
by redistributing the toner. See
page 8.3.
• The toner is totally exhausted.
Remove the old toner cartridge
and install a new one. See page
8.4.
• The toner cartridge reached the
end of its life.

The red light on the top of the printer keeps blinking. This light has a triangle with an exclamation point inside it right above it on the printer.
I have exactly the same problem...could anyone help us to resolve this problem? Tk
How do we know the tonner cartridge reached the end of its life?
I purchased a ML-2510 last August and just refilled the original catridge. The red light is still blinking.
What is the life span of the original catridge?
Printer is still printing fine, so it doesn't seem cartridge is at the end of it's life. So I'm wondering just what this printer is trying to tell me
The exclamation mark in the triangle is not blinking, its solid. The print quality is excellent which I would not expect with low or exhausted toner. Also, is that what the symbol means? Strange symbol for a toner cartridge.
