A lot of dust between the back screen & glass cover

Not sure how the dust managed to get into the space between the screen and the glass cover which sits over it. I can't see a gap where the dust could be getting through and although it doesn't affect the picture quality it's getting quite hard to see the display properly especially in bright conditions.

Hey,

I know exactly what you mean, try some canned air, blow it softly into the holes, might need to take it apart little to get it in there to get rid of the dust.

takeing your camera apart may void the warranty.

Thanks,
Ekse

I have a Mitsubishi 60"

there may be dust behind the screen & also on the reflecting glass. u will see that upper back portion cover is removable. remove it & see that glass there is glass on inner side of cover. clean it, also clean the screen. u will see there are 3 picture tubes faces on bottom side, clean all of them.

if it does not work then u can increase brightness of tv by increasing "screen" control of tv which is on the lower back portion of tv. this can be done by any tv repair expert only.

I have an 60PP9202 Rear projection HD TV and the inside of it needs dusting. Is there any instructions available on how to do this? The unit was purchased in 2004 and was vaccumed several times on the back...

You will need to remove the back cover. Here you will dust the lens with a pressure can of air only. Then you proceed to clean the lens with an eye glass damp cloth Get these from an eye doc). As for the mirror, you must use real caution. This mirror is made of a stretched plastic. The best way to clean this is to use a new feather duster. Do not even think of using anything wet to clean this mirror. It is very fragile. Let me add, that you want to do this from the rear also. Next, I would not recommend you try to pull the front cover (screen) off. It would be next to impossible to put the screen back on the TV. You will also feather dust the inside of the screen from the rear. No wetting solution here. Be sure your TV is not plugged in. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

Sand under screen of RAZR V3

Shoels,
You could replace the screen and glass lens/cover but I having done this procedure a few times, don't think it's worth it as the Razr is a fragile phone and the case's just snap fit together.
There are cell phone repair shops (depending where you are located) that will replace both the screen and glass cover for a fee.
I personally would just look for a shady spot to view my display in daylight, as the V3 isn't worth the trouble/expense to repair (in my humble opinion of course).
Good luck

Need to disassemble Mitsubishi VS-6041 60 in Rear Projection

Wow, You are asking for a complete disasemmbly. If this is necessary, you have to remove any screws you can find that are connected to the front panel. Usually they are in the top of the set ( you'll find them after removing the mirror panel and mirror ). I wouldn't remove any tubes as the tube convergence would have to be all reset and that would require a cross hair generator. I do hope this has helped in some way, but all I can do is send you my best wishes as I certainaly don't suggest disassembly if there is any other way. Good luck
