I have a LG Flatron E2750v Monitor connected with a standard cord between the monitor In the center of the screen it reads: D-Sub out of range 68.5Khz/85Hz VGA Port or Power saving mode HDMI Port

Hi, that message indicates that your video source is providing an unsupported video resolution , please check in settings that video output resolution is no more than 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz.
Also remember to verify that HDMI is selected as input source at monitor.

My monitor it turn on and off itself

Try connecting your monitor to a different computer.
If it still turns on and off, the monitor is failing.
It needs to be replaced.

I have a LG Flatron EW224 computer monitor. It was working great but one day the screen went blank and reads in the center of screen: D-Sub out of range 68.5Khz/85Hz. Does anyone know how to correct this...

This is usually due to your computer Video resolution being set to a setting out of the supported range of your monitor, Lowering the computer video resolution should solve this issue.

Out of range 68.6khz/ 85hz

At 85 hz refresh rate can damage you monitor, most LCD monitor are not recommended to go higher than 75Hz. You should set you PC video resolution to the native resolution of the monitor:
1280 x 1024 @60Hz.

It means your PC video resolution is too high for the monitor to display, you need to set your PC video to the native resolution of this monitor, 1280 x 1024 @60Hz.
Start up in sfae mode (hit f8 while booting up), select VGA support, then right click on desk top/properties to bring up display property/setting. set the new resolution , reboot.

It means your PC video output resolution is too high for the LG monitor to display (your old monitor (CRT) can handle higher resolution than this LG LCD monitor), you need to set the PC video resolution to native resolutionof this monitor which is 1280 x 1024 @60Hz. You may have to use the old monitor (CRT) to set the resolution to 1280 x 1024@60Hz, then hook up the LCD monitor.
