When I try to scan I get the following message displayed:
no destination is programmed for specified number
How do I program a destination number for this scanner?
Easier said than done...you'll probably need a tech for this one.
First..to scan to folder you require a software called "scanrouter Lite" from Ricoh, which is actually kind of hard to get a hold of these days, since it's nnot supported anymore, and then the configuration is not easy , because it is proprietary...meaning only Ricoh uses it, and it is almost impossible to configure for anyone else that has not used it.
There is however Scan to email, and for this you can open a web browser, and type it's Ip address (if you have it connected via tcp/ip port), enter "admin mode"...user name= "admin", password = "password"...then enter all network settings...IP, DNS, POP,SMTP, etc. then in "address book" enter your destination settings.
This is not a configuration that is easy for a novice either, and it is also not compatible with an email server that uses authentication for outgoing mail.
I may not have helped, b ut I hope I clarified.
It certainly doesn't violate any copyright laws....it was a free program. ...and why just make a copy and send it to "pillar" then?
There is in fact another option other than suggested, that I had never
experimented with, until now -maybe this is how you had it configured
originally. And it is much easier to configure for an end user, and
that is the 'Network twain scanning" software.
get it here:
http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/downl...
With this, you can use your adobe Photoshop, or similar to select
"File", "Import", then select your 1515 scanner...hope this helps

I have scanrouter lite on a CD, but I can't get it to work either. Please see my message below about error code 12320.
If I know I'm getting it back I can send it to you. I don't think that violates any sharing or copyright laws in light of the fact that it isn't supported any more. If it does, then sorry never mind.
