Monitor will not turn on.

I have a Viewsonic VX2235WM Monitor. I turned the monitor off at the power switch on the monitor last night and this morning it will not turn on. I can't even get a light to show it is getting power. I have tried swapping cables and even computers. The monitor appears to be dead i. e. no power. Can this problem be fixed?

That is a clear indication of a failure on the power supply board. Here is a link to a repair guide with pictures and videos that will show you how to open the unit and what to look for and replace to rebuild the power supply board and get the unit up and running again.

I have view sonic ve155b I turned the monitor off at the power switch on the monitor last night and this morning it will not turn on. I can't even get a light to show it is getting power. I have tried...

This VE155 uses wallwart 12vdc 3.5A power supply, you need to check first to see if it is putting out 12vdc.

ViewSonic VX2235WM turns on than screen goes blank changed power cords cable cords viedo card cpu still same problem

The problem is most likely the monitor itself. Hook up an old monitor (usually someone has an old monitor laying around) if the computer works with another monitor you'll know for sure.
Look at your monitor using a flash light at an angle, if you can see a picture in the background you have a bad inverter.

Extremely Dim/Dark ViewSonic Monitor

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Moniter flips out after it warms up

I repaired my VX2235WM that wouldn't turn the display on anymore (would accept a video signal for a PC, but no image would be shown) by replacing 5 stressed electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board.
