SOURCE: I need to replace the headphone jack in my Casio

Just replace the jack. Search Digikey.com Mouser.com for exact replacement. It will be a stereo jack LIKELY with switches that disconnect the speakers if your unit has speakers, otherwise just a stereo jack.

yes maybe you may fined that some of the power to the led is being blocked by causing a larger resistant to the led which will cause it not to light up as bright.

It sounds like you are in need of a new piano. These are common issues with keyboards. The age is a big factor. It would cost just as much in repairs as it would to buy a new keyboard.

Yamaha CP 300 broken headphone jack

Some keyboards use the amp output sockets for headphone use.
You might need some adapters for your headphones.
If it fell in, you would see an empty hole. This would be unlikely because it is held on by two screws. If all fails, buy an amp with a headphone jack input. Plug the keyboard into the amp and use the amps jack.

The keyboard has a mic jack that is the same size as the headphones. You probably put the headphone plug into the wrong jack is all.

Headphones don't work right.

It might be that the contacts for the headphone jack is very dirty. Try using a cotton swab with a wd-40 on it to clean the inside contacts on the jack.
