I have a 2005 model Quinny Buzz and tried my chassis with a newer model frame. The only difference in seat frame to chassi conection is the format on the tip of the pole that ataches to the chassis. Mine is round on both sides and new model has 1 small pin. I wonder if I could find a way to cut the pin or change the black piece on the seat frame that makes the pin into the old tip it wound fit my chassis? What do you think?

Hi

This is not recommended as modification of your Quinny could make the product unsafe to use.

From what you are saying you are trying to use the original 2005 style chassis with a newer model sub seat (seat frame) is this correct?

If so there are rubber bungs on either prong on the sub seat that can be removed in order for this model sub seat to fit in the 2005 chassis. If you'd like more information on doing that please pass on an e-mail address and we can put you in touch with an engineer to discuss.

Quinny buzz 3

Hi
Yes the 2013 style sub seat can be fitted to a 2005 chassis. Where the sub seat connects into the chassis there will be a plastic clip on either side of the 2013 sub seat that will need to be removed in order for the sub seat to then fit into a 2005 chassis.

Can a bugaboo seat fit a buzz chasis frame

Hi

No we would not recommend this combination. Only Quinny Buzz seat unit has been tested and approved for use with Quinny Buzz chassis.

I have a quinny buzz 2005 model have the adapters changed or will the newborn pushchair seat fit this model

Hi

The 2005 / 2006 model chassis can be used with an existing style seat unit - you will need a replacement sub seat as well as the fabric to go on it for the child to sit on. The existing fabric is not suitable to fit onto the sub seat (seat frame) that you have with this model.

Visit www.quinny.com and select your country, then choose "Contact Us" for your enquiry to be sent to the customer care team for your country who can advise on where to buy and costs.

Hi, ive just bought a qunniy buzz 3 chassis with no rear wheels and was just wondering if any quinny buzz rear wheels will fit? many thanks

Good Afternoon

As long as the rear wheels you fit are for the Quinny Buzz they will fit. Older style wheels will have a slightly different hub cap to the newer style wheels. Older style wheels may not be an ideal fit in a newer chassis as they may not click in properly though so it would be recommended that the wheels purchased are the ones relevant to the chassis.

One side of my Quinny Buzz (2010 model) frame seems to be sinking lower than the other side. With the seat unit on its beginning to look increasingly lopsided. I've never hung shopping on the frame or...

Good Morning

Without inspection we wouldn't be able to advise exactly what has happened to this chassis, but it shouldn't be a case of the chassis warping due to your using it with the handlebar extended, as it has been designed for this use. As the chassis is a 2010 model it is still under warranty: Please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase and ask them to make arrangements for the chassis to come to our engineers for full inspection and any repair work required under the terms and conditions of the 2 year chassis warranty.

I have a quinny buzz 2005 frame will a replacement seat unit fit this and will the carry cot fit please

Good Afternoon

The original Quinny Buzz 2005/2006 chassis is not suitable for fitting the current seat fabric. However you can purchase a sub seat (seat frame) which will fit onto your chassis (RRP 75GBP) and the current seat fabric will fit onto that (RRP 40GBP). The Quinny Dreami carrycot is suitable for use on any Quinny Buzz chassis. You can order the sub seat and seat fabric via your local Quinny retailer or direct from the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30.

2009 or 2008 quinny buzz model ?

I don't think you're being advised correctly. My Buzz 3 is the 2008 model, which according to Dorel when I contacted them about something else was the first model that included the extra XL seat fabric, and mine has the clip style chassis lock on the side of the frame. The cord style chassis lock is a much older model - perhaps 2006 or 2007, definitely not the newer 2008 or 2009 models. Someone could be selling an older style chassis with the newer coloured fabrics because I think storm might well be a 2009 colour. Mine was originally Charcoal/Black but I have bought new seat fabrics etc and it is now Strawberry red which were both 2008 colours. Hope this helps.

Does the quinny buzz seat 2006 and carrycot fit the 2008/9 frame

Hi new frame should be ok, the only frame that is different is the older 2005 frame, if you remove your seat unit and check the posts on your seat unit (the bits that slot onto the buzz chassis) if they are both the same and have rounded ends then this is the older model and wont fit the newer frames, but if one of the posts is rounded and the other is shaped like a turret then all the frames 2006 onwards will be ok. :)
