If you are talking about the hdmi ports, 3 are ins and one is out, but I use the hdmi from player direct to tv, and use coax or optical connection to my receiver for the audio

If I understand you correctly the Harman Kardon does not supply the output video and usb ports. Since this is a go and play they pobably felt it was not needed. to impliment these changes would require a complete design change.

Please check if you have the sound cable plugged tightly in the port.
Check if the same problem happens on a different speaker or another music source. (this will determine if you have grounded sound port or grounded speakers).
Try reinstalling the sound driver of your pc.

Any of the three INPUTS if you're bringing sound IN from the TV or elsewhere; or the lone OUTPUT if you want to send audio to the TV or elsewhere.
If the former, consider sourcing the audio from the REAL original source of the program you're watching, most likely a Cable Box. Less cabling and fewer connections to fail.
the usb port needs to be soldered (reattached to the board) or it needs to be fully replaced. You can try to repair it yourself or send it to a third party gps repair service.
