The ol error can be caused by many problems, first let's address the over filling of the water, there is a plastic tube that runs from your control to the outer tub. This tube provides the pressure to the sensor in the control board to control the water level in the tub of the washer. If this line has a pin hole or is clogged, this could effect the water level. If your tube is ok then the control board is bad.
the ol error could be any of the following:
cloths under the tub,
bad bearings
basket hub
stater motor
rps sensor
control board

Hi jbrundage1. I believe you have a UL error code on the washer. It means that the sensors in the washer are sensing the unit is unbalanced. When the washer is empty, set it to a spin or rinse and spin setting. Run the washer through the cycle empty, as it will help to remove any excess water in the tub. Also, make sure the washer is level, as it is balanced on springs, and that could be throwing the sensors off. I hope these suggestions prove helpful. Error OL means overload. oL flashes when the machine/motor control detects a load size that exceeds the washer's capacity. To clear the error open the door lid and restart the cycle by removing excess laundry. If error doesn't clears then unplug the washer for 5-10 minutes and check. Hope this helps...
