The clothes were coming out too wet after the final spin on any cycle, so we were told to clean the drain tube, after following the directions to clean that out, and put back together, now, when I set the washer to wash a load, the washer makes a clicking noise near the dial, but the water temp never lights up, doesn't allow me to choose a temp, and then just shuts off. What now?
SOURCE: Frigidaire front load washer (LTF600ES1) Error E20
holla, Im not showing a E20 code on the tech sheet. There is a E21. Water not draining fast enough. Try holding the start/pause and cancel key together for 3 seconds. The door lock, wash, rinse and final spin leds should light. Any error codes should be displayed when holding those keys. If you see a different error code, post it. If not, I would suspect a clogged pump...Catriver.

There
is an auxiliary switch in the door lock and switch assembly that
is activated at the end of the wash cycle for the machine to advance to
the spin cycle.
This is a safety feature to prevent the door from opening during the
spin cycle and the machine will not spin unless the switch is activated.
The machine works except advancing to the spin cycle and this signifies
that the auxiliary switch cannot be activated and the door lock and
switch assembly is faulty. Replace the door lock and switch assembly
(part #131763202) to address the issue.
Check the machine for error code E47, the control board detects the door PTC circuit (door lock and switch assembly) is open in spin, by waking the machine by pressing any button. Wait for 5 seconds then press and hold the Start and Pause/Cancel buttons simultaneously and as long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Proceed with replacing the door lock and switch assembly if error code E47 is confirmed.
Disconnect power to the
machine. Open the washer door then look for the retaining hoop securing
the door seal around the lip of the door opening. Stretch the retainer
spring of the door seal retaining hoop then remove it.
Carefully
peel off part of the door seal from the lip of the door opening near the
door lock and switch assembly. Remove enough of the door seal to gain
access to the door lock and switch assembly.
Remove the screws
securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel. Once the
screws are removed, lift the door lock and switch assembly then pull it
away from the front panel.
Take the door lock and switch assembly
out of the machine. Disconnect the electrical connections then
connect it to the new door lock and switch assembly.
Put the new
door lock and switch assembly into position in the front panel and
secure it with the securing screws. Properly put the eased part
of the door seal back over the lip of the door opening then secure it
with the retaining hoop to complete the repair.

I appreciate your post, Rachel Kovach!
From my understanding your Frigidaire frontload washer is not spinning the final spinning and the clothes are still wet. If you washer is overloaded it will not spin properly to release the water out of the clothes. Also, a small load will cause your washer to not spin properly. You should additionally check the drain hose to make sure it not kinked or twisted that could cause your improper draining. If all that checks properly it could be an issue with your drain pump, motor, and control panel. I would suggest consulting with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help avoid unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
Hey friend, thank you for your post!
I see that your Frigidaire washer, FWT449GFS2 is not entering the final high spin cycle. It is possible that you could have a defective motor or timer. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend you having a professional come out to the home for the repair of your washer. -Matt

the error code we're getting is E23, drain pump relay on control board failed, wire off pump or pump defective. This happened when we reassembled after cleaning the tubes going to the pump...what wire are we talking about?
