SOURCE: Find the antilog on the TI-83 Plus for finding pH in chemistry problems
I reccently had the same problem, but I have a Ti-84 Plus, and I am disgusted by how poorly this matter is covered by Texas Intruments. Esp. since the solution is rather simple.
The antilog key is [2nd] [log] or the 10^x. On your screen it should apear as 10^( and then you just input the value that you want to find the antilog of.
When used to solve pH problems remember to input the pH value as a negative number, since pH= -log[H+] then [H+]= antilog(-pH).
Hope that helped))))) ^^

I'm not specifically familiar with the TI83 or TI84 but I've used a lot of TI calculators in my time, so I'll give it a try. If your trying to find the antilog of a number in base 10 enter the number and hit the (10 to the X) button. If you're trying to find the antilog of a number in in base e (natural log), enter the number and hit the (e to the X) button.
SOURCE: my TI-83 plus calculator doesn't work
As battery gets drained, the screen contrast dims. But when you change batteries, some times the contrast is reset to some low value and the screen appears dead: it is so light that you do not see anything, and you think the calculator is malfunctioning. This is the most frequent reason users think the calculator refuses to turn ON. And I hope that is the case now.
To correct that, you must increase screen contrast: draken the screen a bit. To do so
If that solve your problem that is good, rate the post accordingly.. If that does not, do not get irate and berate the post. Post a comment here describing what you did and what message (if any) calculator returned, and I will give you further diagnostic steps.
SOURCE: ti-83 plus ram cleared message when turned on
It calculator tells you Ram Cleared each time you turn it on, the most likely reason is that the backup battery is depleted. Its role is to keep the memory modules electrically refreshed when calculator is turned off. If the backup battery is dead, the memory is erased when you turn calculator OFF. Main batteries no longer supply power and the contents of the memory are cleared.
