I connected it correctly and got no pic on my tv, the red light was on the cam, why dont i get a picture on my tv?

I hooked up the camera completely as the directions instructed me to. I had the power off to the TV and the camera until it was completely installed. Once I finished the install I turned the power on to the camera first and then turned on the television. I had the cables hooked up correctly (yellow was vid. in white was aud. in) The TV is a trutech with different categories to choose from, so I chose all the choices with no luck. The different categories are as follows 1 is TV 2nd is AV in 3rd is YUV in 4th is DVD and the last mode is PC in. The red light on the camera is working but I don't have any image from the camera on the television. Am I doing something wrong ?

I would say if you are getting no picture
Lets assume that the rca connection cables are not broken then that your tv is ntsc even is the signals were mixed you would get something therefore only thing left is that the resolution of the signals your camera must output i higher resolution or aspects ratio than your tv can accommodate checking the setting of the camera go to the lowest resolution

I assume you checked the input for the TV you were choosing. You would need to choose the AV input. David also suggested that if the camera is set yo PAL, then you could never get an image with NSTC TV. Some devices are PAL or NTSC only and others have options to broadcast one or the other. Both TV and camera need to be the same.

I would need more information on both TV and camera model numbers to determine if they are compatible with each other, AV should be the one but it would depend on the format of video like PAL or NSTC for example.
The cameras I have seen on Amazon are NTSC (US) type so if your TV is PAL type (UK) then they will not get along and its video signal will be of no interest to it.

Dvd playing blue picture

if it is hooked up with componant, thats the red blue green cables for video, and red white for audio, then you probabily eather dont have the red pluged all the way in, or you have the red audio, and red video---reversed, make sure to check them on the dvd player, and on the tv, if there correct, try using the composit input, that is the yellow red and white

When I hook up my Little Shots Camera it says can not connect to device

Uninstall all old pc cam, mars software and do a fresh installation. Restart computer. Before plugging in usb cable, push the shutter button down and hold it.Shutter is the button that takes the pictures. Now plug in usb cable. Camera should say pc cam and installation of software should start and complete. If asked about newer reference files answer yes. Software should now be installed. To use as pc cam,Dbl Click pc cam, mars icon on the desktop.New screen will appear.click on right facing triangle and another screen will open. Camera will now show on monitor what it is aimed at.To shut off, close all screens, and click on icon tray and shut usb device if necessary. To use as camera and view pictures, connect usb cable without pushing any buttons, and camera will say usb,Dbl click my computer, dbl click removable disk D,E F whichever it has been assigned, dbl click DCIM folder, and there are your pics to do waht you want with, save, print etc.Do not delete pics using the computer, delete only by camera so you do not damage files necessary to store and take pictures. If you do camera may have to be reformatted.Disconnect from pc same way by clicking usb icon in tray and stopping device, then its safe to unplug cable.

Wish to load my pic to ebay , from my canon pro1 camera

1.connect cam via usb link and check your cam.your cam will show option choose "data storage".the other options will need a software to be installed in the pc.
2.find the icon in my computer or at the right lower side of the monitor/screen which confirms the camera is connected. This will show the "drive"
3.click on the "drive"...until it shows the letters DCIM.
4 click again and now will show all the pictures on the camera.
5. choose what picture you like to upload from your cam to pc. you can also choose all of them.
6. if your done transfering your pictures to your pc you can now upload pictures to your ebay.
just click upload from your ebay profile.
7. then a "browse" will appear. cllick browse and find the folder where you save the pictures you have loaded from the cam to pc, and click okey/open.
8. check your ebay to confirm that the picture has been loaded.

this is the other way to load pictures from your cam to pc:

youll need a card reader hooked up to your computer via a USB and your memory card.
If required, youll load your memory card into the card reader. Your digital media will appear as another drive on your computer. Click the drive and your photos will appear in a folder on the drive. You can view your pictures immediately by double-clicking the file. From here, you can save your pictures directly to any folder on your computer.

i hope iwas able to help you! good luck!

No cam

It appears this same thing has been happening for other consumers of the same product. The manufacturer might of created a firm ware upgrade to this problem. First you can try to remove the batteries then put them back in after a minute to see if that solves the problem since it can reset your electronics.

Let us know how it works out or if you have found a solution since you have last posted on here.

Thanks for your time!

Trouble Viewing Pictures Once Connected To The Computer

this is not at all a big deal.it's very simple.
solution 1: connect the cam to your computer and open the folder.
leave it for 2 mins and then view the pictures.
solution:after opening the folder, copy all the pics without viewing.Copy to some location in your computer and you can view the pics there.

this happens because of the size of the memory card of your cam.if the size is large and pics are completely filled, it takes some time to sync.nothing to worry.

Can't take pictures

Check your batteries, they may be inserted the wrong way, if not, then just press the button on the back of the camera ONCE to power it up. Then press the shutter button. the number readout on back should show one less number than it did before. You have taken a photo. You also need software that works.

Malfunctioning of Nikon 2100

I had the same problem. The shutter button is faulty and is always half pressed - auto focus is operational (this is the step before actually the picture is taken. Try to clean it up with some special electrical contact spray. if this does not work - need to replace it - Not a simple job for the novice. You might need to take the camera to a service center for a spare on-off-expose button. I had an old faulty camera where I took the button from it. That solved the problem.
