Can't connect to network

Wi-Fi Setting Turning On/Off Wi-Fi:
1. Touch WiFi icon in the notification area in the lower-right corner of the screen to view the available WiFi hot spots.
2. Touch Available WiFi icon to turn on/off WiFi connection.
Connecting to a network: 1. 2. 3.
Touch WiFi icon in the notification area in the lower-right corner of the screen to view the available WiFi hot spots.
Select an available network from the list and touch Connect.
Input the password if necessary, then touch Connect to start connecting to the Internet.

doing this might help:

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the upper-right corner.
3. Tap the WiFi icon.
4. Tap the Menu icon on the upper-right corner of the screen.
5. Choose Advanced from the drop-down.
6. Uncheck the box next to "Smart network switch".

Turn on your computer and locate the Wi-Fi icon. This could be located on the upper row on a laptop it will have the radiation look (((•))) Make sure its pressed on. The internet connection is located in the system tray in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The icon looks like a series of rectangles that increase in from left to right. Right-click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Connect to a network." You will see a list of available wireless networks. Choose a Wi-Fi network you want to connect to and select "Connect." Enter the password into the password text box if a password is required. If a password is not required, you will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network. Click "OK." Hope this helps.

You have to reset your wireless router. You need to delete the old connection on your computer to that router. To do that, point your mouse to the wireless icon in the lower right corner of your screen. Right-click on the icon and choose "Open Network & Sharing Center". In the window that opens on the left column choose "Manage Wireless Networks". Right-click on the network and choose "Remove Network" for all networks that are shown. After you've done all this, click on the wireless icon in the bottom right hand corner and choose the name of your router to re-connect. If you have a secured password, you will need to reenter it to connect. Good day. In regards to your problem you can do this steps but make sure that your computer or laptop should have a wireless card or wireless enable

For desktop computer you can check it by doing this steps:
> click "Start"
> Go to Control Panel
> go to Device Manager
> click Network Adapter then you'll something that says wireless adapter if there is one installed in your pc

For laptop usually all of them have built in wireless
> you'll be able to see a wireless icon on the lower right corner of your screen.
> there is also a light for your wireless connection
> you need to make sure as well that the wireless switch in your laptop is on so that you can connect to a wireless net work

For you to connect:
> you can right click the icon for wireless ( once you hover the mouse on the icon it will say wireless so that you'll know that you're clicking the right icon) on the lower right corner of your screen
> after you right click it will give you an option to connect to a wireless network
> just click the name of the connection you want to connect to
Note: if you have your own wireless choose that name from the list
> some wireless requires a security code to connect: make sure that you know the password for that ( usually it will says secured )
> if it says not secured then just click the name of the wireless and it will automatically connect.

Make sure that DHCP is enabled for the network connection. You shouldn't need to 'set' an IP, almost all networks automatically assign these network settings.

my facebook chat is disabled and yellow triangular icon appears at right on chatting location.

If your connecting a second wired computer , all you need to do is plug an ethernet cable on ethernet port of your computer and the other end should go to any of the available ports in the back of your router.

If you connecting a wireless computer. You just have to look for the wireless icon, its usually seen on the bottom right hand corner.
Right click on the wireless icon and click view available network,
Highlight your network name and connect.

Steps for xp Vista to follow

1. Click on the Start menu and navigate to 'Control Panel' (if you donot see Control Panel, choose Settings, then Control Panel as seen inthe screen capture on the right.'
   OR
2. In the upper-left corner there will be a window that says either'Switch to Classic View' or 'Switch to Category View.' If it saysSwitch to Classic View, click it; you should now see many more iconslisted on the right side of this window.
3. Double click on the 'Network Connections' icon.
   
4. Double click on 'Wireless Network Connection' icon.
   
5. Click the 'Properties' button.
   
6. The Wireless Network Connection Properties window will come up, youneed to make sure the two check boxes at the bottom are checked; Show icon in notification area when connected and Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity.
   
7. Click on the Wireless Networks tab and make sure the Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings box is checked.
   
8. Remove the setting for you wireless, click view wireless networks and reconnect reentering you wireless password.
