White vertical band in Cyan and Black

Left site of the paper is faded for approx. 5 cm, with a white band of 1 cm 5 cm from the side of the paper. When printing 100% black or cyan no problem can be seen. When printing 20% black or cyan (diagnose test pages) the first 4 cm from the left are faint, and then 1 cm blank shows. No problem with yellow or magenta (20% nor 100%) As a result, the printer can only be used for text only printing.

PN59D7000 samsung plasma - bottom 1/5 (approx) went white along with a vertical black bar, a couple inches wide, just to the right of middle. Does this look like a Y main board (maybe buffers too)?

It has two problems one with a buffer card. , and another with the drive left . , to do a test with the drive , and disconnect if it turns white , it's just the card drive , but is screen

Any advice on what board I should replace if the left half of the screen is no good, just showing white and black vertical bars? Right half is fine. Is the panel kaput?

Thank you Kitty but I'm not clear on how cleaning the Print Heads and replacing toner would fix this faded banding issue. I printed long Vertical bars of Magenta, Cyan, Yellow and Black. All colors fad at...

you need to clear the rollers and the heat drum (fixes the image and melts the toner onto the paper) if you have done any two sided copy, or have used paper with an image on one side, the ink may have gotten onto the roller and left a trace which would account for the banding being in the same place all the time. the rollers and etc are difficult to get at, and not really a job for amateurs

Faded on left hand side

If it only happens with the black then you need to change out the black toner cartridge. The good news is isn't doesn't happen with color so it more than likely not the printer but the toner.

Black Smear

go to page13-9 routine maintenance section, where it says to clean the glass strip on top of it there is a white plate (shown) does that plate have ANY dirt or spots etc......?
It MUST be completely WHITE or it will give you black streaks. if it cannot be cleaned then use white out to cover. ( makesure it is completely dry before using).
