Kenmore Coldspot 106 door needs aligning not closing properly

please double check that your freezer door is closing properly. You can also pull the fridge out and check whether the water is coming from the back of the of the fridge. If not, then that means there's a leak under the fridge and if that's the case you'll need to schedule a diagnostic on the fridge. The top to bottom alignment is done by moving the hinges up/down. On many models there may also be plastic spacers on the hinge pins you can use to adjust the height.The closing of the door so it shuts properly and is flush on all 4 sides is done by adjusting the screws that hold the door gasket in place. If you've never done it before it can be a real pain to get it right. Make small adjustments to the screws and if need be grab the door at the center top and center bottom and give it a small tug in opposite directions to get it straight, if you have to. To test if its closing properly, look at the edge of the gasket all around it should be the same distance from the body of the fridge, use a mirror to see the bottom. To test if its sealing properly use a dollar bill. Close the bill in between the gasket and the door in areas all around the door, When you pull on the bill you should feel resistance, if the bill is not held in or pulls out easily the gasket is not sealing properly at that location, you need to adjust the screws to get it aligned better.

If you hear it more when the doors are open you need a new evap fan

Gently slide the handle up until it releases. Then slightly turn the screw underneath it, and slide the handle back on. Do this until it fits properly.

The problem can be temperature not set properly or any of fridge or freezer door not closed properly and cool air is getting leaked out. These are basic possibilities which first need to be checked. But if these possibilities are checked ok and still the problem is same, then its weak compressor issue. It appears there are two clip slots on the bottom of the trim plate that need to be carefully pried to release the 2 pressure clips ... then swing the trim out a bit and lift up.
Hopefully your model is just like this one .. or close anyway!

these have to be in correctly to lock back in and allow the unit to function. Try removing the bin again and be sure there isn't any small pieces of ice trapped anywhere. Also make sure there aren't any broken pieces from the bin. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Check the lower hinge of that door for a broken closer cam. The upper hinge is adjustable and adjusting the corners in the front will shift the cabinet to align the door also.
