You do know don't you that in Win 7 there is a resident slide show facility, so if you transfer the files to say, my pictures of videos, you can use them as a slideshow within the system.
You will need updated drivers for Windows 7 and hopefully your scanner is recognised by Windows 7. Not all XP compatible hardware is compatible with Windows 7. If you would like to send me details of your Scanner I can check for you if you like.
There's nothing you can do to make that scanner work for a Mac because it was made (and its software) exclusively for Windows.
You could try:
-use the scanner and its software on a Windows computer
-go to a computer shop and have the slides scanned and saved on your flash drive
you have to get a new driver for Win 7 probable the software was designed for Vista; go here there you can download the new driver. after you install it Windows 7 has the option to use the scanner from there you may have to get a new software to edit your images but you get the scanning features on Win7
well first check whether your dvd rom is shown in my computer and is it is there try to burn a dvd using windows dvd maker using some vido files if this works you better download the new arcsoft dvd slide show tha is compatible with windows 7 64bit edition cuz it needs special software or try thease software patches from the vendor site the say they are windows 7 compatible just read and download them you do not need to unistall your current version http://www.arcsoft.com/en-us/download_patch.asp?id=1
try it and please rate...
I'm assuming that this is only occurring in ArcSoft PhotoStudio? You may need to install an application that is more up today and compatible with Vista. I don't know if that version of PhotoStudio is compatible. You should check with ArcSoft. There is a patch for the 2000 version of PhotoStudio...but again, I don't know if PhotoStudio 2000 is Vista Compatible.
