look at the cable fittings and see if something is broken or bent.
try your local geek network online.
go to your usb port settings and see if it is reading the proper link to your modem and see if your modem is recognized.
may be the network settings you have. in conflict with your modem and network router.

also purchased CDMA 1x but i have good speed. change modem setting put
"DNS" 8.8.8.8 & "Alternate DNS" 8.8.4.4 and type in "Static Ip
address" 8.8.8.8.now connect internet check speed.it's not high speed

dont you see it on the sticker stuck on it? no problem if you dont get just contact the reliance care,they will tell it easily because it is a cdma modem
