I forgot my lock code on an lg rumor

hi dear.. please help me.. i forgot my NOKIA E63 restore factory settings lock code. please send the how to reset my lock code to [email protected]

The code to unlock the rumor is ##3282# then scroll down to advanced. Then click view, then go down to the "lock code" icon click and it will show you the lock code

Locking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming
calls or make calls to 911, Sprint Customer Service, or special
numbers. (See “Using Special Numbers”on page 63.)
1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > More... > Security
and enter your lock code.
2. Select Lock My Phone > Lock Now. (To setyour phone to
lock the nexttime itis turned on, selectOn Power Up.)
Unlocking Your Phone
1. From standby mode, press Unlock(rightsoftkey).
2. Enter your lock code.

it can be unlocked by calling your carrier and they will give you the infomation unlock code as long as the account is current and not delienquent if canceled it will cause some of the features not to work on the device

The LG Rumor is a Sprint CDMA device. This means that it is activated on a network using the Electronis Serial Number programmed into the device. Once the device is powered up, it registers to the network and if that ESN doesnt match an active acct, then no service, and you may get a message asking you to activate your device. Sim cards are only in GSM devices (not including nextel and a few devices that have been dubbed world phones, allowing them to work on both CDMA and GSM services.)

So, all this was to explain simply that you can never put a sim card in a LG Rumor. There is nowhere for it to go. SRY!!!!!

As long as you know your security code you can retreive your lock code. On the Lotus dial ##3282# scroll down to Advanced, choose View, then scroll down to option 5 which should be the Lock Code and select it. You will need to enter your security code here which typically is 6 zeros.

did you dial ##3282# or ##3282##? dial the second one i said. then if it ask for

zarcc's a *******....ntelos is cdma also and a roaming partner of sprint. But sprint phones are subsidy lock'd and cannot be moved.

the lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number (unless you previously changed it when you first got the phone). This is the default for all phones - again, unless you already manually changed it. If you did then you'll need to call customer service and they will reset your lock code. Pretty easy.
