Why does my vuze program keep shutting down saying something made it stop working?

Every time i click something to search it says vuze has stopped working.i have the right java so what could it be?

try this and see if it helps:
Close the program
Right click it's icon
Select Compatiblity tab

Found this on the Microsoft knowledgebase article referring to your issue. Hope this helps!!

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then press ENTER.
At the command prompt, type ren %windir%\System32\msxml4.dll msxml4.old, and then press ENTER.

Note After you press ENTER, you may receive the following error message. Cannot find the file specified.Ignore this message, and go to step 3.
At the command prompt, type exit, and then press ENTER.
Visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.update.microsoft.com (http://www.update.microsoft.com)
Download and then install the latest MSXML security update.

Error 1714. The older version of Java cannot be removed

If yes , the you can try Offline installation of Java.The below URL gives the complete details -

Hi, If by "vuze" you are reffering to the torrent download application, then unless you had "vuze plus" it is supposed to be free for anyone. I don't even think it is a subscription issue.

Torrent and P2P software have very common problems with firewalls. i' ve come across this type of problem and it turns out the program can't communicate well with the internet because the ports on your router are blocked. Follow these instructions and come back if it isn't solved:

the end programs means that some program is running while you are shutting down you have close all the program before shutting down you can just click end program or wit for the process to end by itself to know which program is running while you close press CTRL+ALT+DEl click the file you will see the program which are running go to shut down and click shut down its shut downs and the end program stops coming

if you have win 7 or vista on your laptop .. the program may be written for win xp .. if so, you can check to see if ugraded software is available from brother for your operating system .. .. or you can load your present software using windows " Compaaibillity Mode" chose XP or whatever operating system the brother software was written for .. right click on your program loader on your disk (setup or whateve) . then select "compatability mode"

If you r running vista:
Try this...

1. Click on the start menu and click on 'Start Search', and then type 'services.msc' and press the Enter button.
2. In the Services window, look for HP CUE Device Discovery Service, and double click on it.
3. You should find something which says 'Startup Type'. Change that to 'Disabled'
4. Click on the 'Apply' button and close all windows.

Downloaded genesis roma worked untill try to burn

Hi, I would say you need to reextract the rar file using whatever program you use. This should reassociate the rar file and allow the file to open again.

Else, if you don't have this operating system, please specify which one do you have.
