Spin cycle makes washer rattle too much

There are springs and bumpers/shocks in the machine that hold the tub. When they break or come loose, the tub wobbles.

its the inner baskets bearings behind this basket as water gets past the rear seal into these bearings and ruins them,you need to dismantle the entire unit to remove the inner basket from the outer tub to replace these bearings

Hello terilym - From what you have described it sounds like you possibly have foreign objects such as coins or safety pins in the tub or pump. I suggest unplugging the washer and carefully check the tub and to verify that the drum is also not damaged. If noise continues after washer is restarted, objects may be in the actual pump. I had this issue when I first purchased my stackable washer.. Because it was still under warranty, I had someone check it out. Apparently when it was installed they forgot to take out the security clamp that secures the unit during delivery.. duh!!

Hello, could be a possible bad pump. I would lean the washer back so you can see the belt. take the belt off and spin all of the pulleys. the pump pulley has a s leave that sometimes makes a grinding noise.
