What microphone are you using, and also have you checked the cable is good? The gain knob on the mic channel is the only independent control for the mic level in relation to the music (without altering the masters). Also, you need the mic to be enabled on the channel, using the Mic On switch. Yours might be labelled On Air, Mic Live, etc.

I just bought a Behringer K3000FX amp and it sounds GREAT with my keyboard. However, just bought a Shure SM48S voice mic and it just doesn't come thru the amp with much volumn...have to turn amp

Greetings! Ok, your amp has an XLR (3-prong) Low-Impedance input on Channel 1 for a Mic. All the other inputs are 1/4" High Impedance inputs, which are for instruments and/or other High Impedance items including low quality High Impedance Microphones. The SM48S is a high quality Low Impedance microphone, so if you use it with a 1/4" plug, it will be in a High Impedance channel, and will be very LOW in volume in comparison with everything else. So, you must use an XLR (3 prong) cable from the Mic to the Channel 1 input on your amp. That will do the trick. Good Luck with your new amp and Mic!

Hi I bought a Behringer C-1 Mic. And when I plug it into my xynyx 502, the LED of the C-1 open. But! my xynyx does not! receive any signal... Please help. did you think my C-1 is broke? because it was new...

That's a condenser microphone. Make sure you have on your phantom power. Should be a button or switch somewhere on the mixer ( individual channel or switch by power switch or in master section for +48v). All condenser mics require this.

I have just bought a behringer vmx 1000. I have a sony stack system can you tell me how to connect it up, e.t.c what cables go where. Thankyou

Success will depend on your "stack" systems capabilities.

Hi. I bought a Behringer Dynamic Microphone XM8500 but I don't know how to install it. It's not working but probably because I'm doing something wrong. It's my first microphone. Do I need a mixer? Does the...

the type of mic input built into a pc (with a mini-jack socket) will not accept the output of a pro dynamic mic such as the one you have - it won't work correctly. You require a pre-amp or mixer - or what would be better for you would be an audio interface with a built in pre-amp such as this:

interface example.

Hi. I bought it new but it dosent work at all. Not even once. Please help me

Hi, It all depends on how you connected it. You can troubleshoot all connection.

After doing that, If still does not work,I would advice you take the microphone back to where you bought it from, and ask for replacement. Only if it has Guarantee for the mic.

Thanks for using fixya...

Behringer B-1 Will Not Pick Up Anything

The microphone needs a phantom power supply to work. In your case you need a 48volt phantom power supply. Some mixers have this feature built in.The Micropower PS400 by Behringer would probably be a good choice.

My microphone doesn't do it right.

Some of the Podcast mics are condenser mics and MUST be used with a preamp or DEVICE that supplies PHANTOM power to the mic.

You computer DOESN"T supply Phantom power.

Read up on Phantom power in Google to understand it.
