It sounds like you have a bad touch pad,try unplugging the machine for a few minutes to see if it resets the board,i would call the factory on this, they've been having problems with this and they might give you the part for free but you'll have to pay for the labor.

this could be the problem

SOURCE: WTW6600SW1 whirlpool cabrio washer keeps

Hello,

The F1 error means that water pressure into the washer is out of range...the control on the washer learns the water pressure coming in from when it was brand new it is capable of learning just the water pressure to your house since it will vary from your neighbors...after it has learned what the normal pressure is if it doesnt see that normal pressure coming into the washer it will throw up the F1 error code

What to check is if water is coming into the washer from the rubber fill hoses with as much pressure as always did...things that could cause lesser pressure is; kinked/crushed fill hose, sediment built up in the filter screens inside of the water inlet valve( can be checked by turning off water and removing hoses and pop screen out from the back of washer where the hoses connect to)

If the filter screens are clear and water seems to coming from the hoses with good pressure...the washer control board would need to be replaced

PROBLEM RESOLVED!!!

The best I could find by scouring the internet was that it was a communication problem between the central control unit and the electronic control box. I was getting F1 codes that would stop the wash, then diagnostics showed F68 and F41 codes.
Sears wanted to charge $65 just to come out and diagnose it themselves, and these appliance sites wanted to charge their own fees to offer solutions. So I took a chance and ordered a new electronic control box ($146.00 + S&H) and installed it myself.
There are three long screws behind the control unit "hood", in the back-top of the washer, facing straight up and down. After unscrewing, I lifted up the hood up and forward, and there was a black box - the electronic control. First, you should check all the wires and make sure the connections are ok. If that still doesn't fix it, unplug all the wires, and take the electronic control out by unscrewing one 1/4" bolt. Put the new one in and re-wire everything (it shows what wires go where on the electronic control box - named by colors). No more error codes!

This washer is only a year and a half old as well, I guess it will pobably be my last Kenmore/Whirlp

SOURCE: whirlpool cabrio washer keeps flashing code F50

The F50 error code indicates that the RPS (rotor position sensor) detects no motor rotation. Check to see if the basket spins freely. If not, you could have an item caught between the outer tub and the inner spin basket. A toy or other item underneath the washer could also prevent the basket from spinning and would result in this F50 code.

If the basket spins freely, you could have a wiring failure that would prevent the motor from spinning.

What does error code f 51mean?

F51 error code is a motor rotor position sensor failure or a lower harness problem. You need to check the motor in manual test mode, not automatic test mode. This will check the hall sensors and do a spin test: Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off; or with only the Clothes Clean or Done indicator on). Select any one button (except POWER, START, STOP, and PAUSE/CANCEL) and follow the steps below, using the same button: Press/hold 3 seconds. Release for 3 seconds. Press/hold 3 seconds. Release for 3 seconds. Press/hold 3 seconds.

If this test mode has been entered successfully, all indicators on the console are illuminated for 5 seconds with 88 showing in the Estimated Time Remaining two-digit display. During the 5 second wait time with 88 showing in the display, press the same button once. You should be in manual test mode. If the button is not pressed within 5 seconds, the automatic test mode begins. The Rotor Position Sensor uses Wash, Rinse, and Spin indicators to detect the three hall sensors. Console can have up to two of these indicators on at the same time when the tub is not moving. Open the lid and rotate the basket by hand. The Wash, Rinse, and Spin indicators should toggle on and off according to the direction the tub is being turned.

SPIN TEST: Make sure lid is down. Press and release: 2nd RINSE or EXTRA RINSE. The lid locks and the lid lock indicator turns on. Press and release; SPIN SPEED, WATER LEVEL, or LOAD SIZE. The motor/basket spins at 23 rpm. Press again, motor /basket spins at 530 rpm. Press again, motor/basket spins at 950 rpm. Press again and motor turns off.

New whirlpool wtw6500ww cabrio washer has overflowed with water every load I ran today. What am I doing wrong? It ran over with every size load.

There is a clear hose that goes from the tub to the pressure sensor on the control board. It tells the washer when to shut off the water. It is probably either punctured or disconnected, or the pressure switch needs to be replaced. If it's new its probably still under warranty and you should have whirlpool fix it.

My whirlpool cabrio washing machine keeps giving me an F1 ERROR when it goes to the rinse cycle. It will complete the wash after i hit cancel reset and wash. Any ideas?

F1(F68)-Pressure Signal Out-of-Range
I telephoned Whirlpool at 1-800-253-1301. Whirlpool acknowledged the F1 fault and will send a serviceman, free parts and labor, to correct the problem concerning the "famous" F1 fault. This is even for washers out of warranty! This concerns model WTW6600SW2 washers. Be sure to get the authorization code from them so the service person cannot argue about costs.
