Right click on each image file -> open with -> Microsoft Office Picture Manager -> Picture -> Resize -> Percentage of Original Width and Height -> select an appropriate size reduction percentage -> OK -> File -> Save As -> name new resized image -> Save -> upload resized file to presentation.

Hi dear, most printers can only use jpeg or bmp format .Use Irfanview to convert raw file to either one.

Save the scanned image as a TIFF for archiving. TIFF files can beresaved and edited without compression loss, thus maintaining the highquality of an image. If you are enlarging an original 4 x 6 photo to8.5 x 11, save the scanned image as a TIFF at 600 dpi resolution. TIFFsprovide more detail than other file formats. Scanned images for emailand posting on the Web, which are to be viewed on a monitor, should besaved as JPEGs at 75 or 100 dpi. JPEGs generate smaller file sizes,which download faster on the Internet. Increase the resolution to 150or 300 dpi only if you are emailing a scanned JPEG image for therecipient to print. Save JPEGs at the maximum quality setting.

The software application must be used for saving files to a specific format that you can select from the menu on the computer.

Standard scans are often saved as bitmap with the extension .bmp .
Select another file format like jpeg with the extension .jpg or .jpeg, when you want to view the scans in photoview afterwards.

Another option is to save the file in a format that can be read with Adobe Reader, selecting .pdf format.

A last option is to reduce your file size, changing the scan settings:

This fix should allow you to use MS Paint to Open and Save JPG files, and Open and Save GIF files. The quality of the saved GIF with MS Paint may be reduced because of the limited 256-color palette (See here for an explanation and workaround). A better alternative for opening and saving JPG and GIF files would be to download and install a great FREE image viewer called IrfanView (MS Paint is still better for individual pixel editing, so it's good to have both).
If you want to proceed with the MS Paint Fix, you should first do a search on your hard drive to see if you
have the jpegim32.flt and gifimp32.flt filters.

You need to make sure you have both filters in the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\grphflt
C:\Windows\MsApps\Grphflt
You may already have the JPEG Filter on your system, but only in one location. If that is the case, Copy and Paste it to the other location. Once you have the JPEG Filter in both locations, you may only need to do a simple Registry edit to be able to "Save As" a JPG.
If you already have the JPEG Graphics Filter on your system (and in both locations as stated above), but MS Paint still won't let you "Save As" JPG, you can manually edit the Registry to correct this. It's a simple fix. Go to Start, Run, type REGEDIT, and click OK. Go to this key by clicking the + signs beside the keys (folders):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Graphics Filters\Export\JPEG.
Click on the "JPEG" key (folder) in the left pane, and you'll see a String Value in the right pane with the name "Extensions". Make sure under the "Data" column it shows only "jpg". If it shows "jpg, jpeg", double-click on the "Extensions" string and from the "Value data" field remove "jpeg" so that it only reads "jpg" (without the quotes).
If it worked, this edit allows you to "Save As" JPG. If it didn't work, or if you want to be able to also open and save GIF files, read on.

This is because if a music file is larger than a certain size (cannot remember the exact size, but relatively small) the music is not saved in the PP but in the original file. you should send the music file together with the presentation

To decrease the size of the image as well as change the format to jpeg, Open the file in PaintBrush and do a "Save As" and choose the file type as JPEG, and the size is reduced.
Once the size of the file is small, it won't take much time to upload in any site.

Unless your picture frame supports Power point files you can't load it straight on to it, but you could try this.

1. Open the powerpoint file in MS Powerpoint (or download the free powerpoint viewer)
2. Use the Print Screen button (also marked PrtSc) to copy the screen to the clipboard
3. Paste into a picture program (such as MS Paint, free with Windows)
4. Save the files as a JPEG
5. Load these onto the picture frame

I had this problem - The problem is the way that the file was encoded after editing in photoshop. When saving it as a JPEG you must make sure that the format options are set to either Baseline "standard" or Baseline "Optimized". If the format settings are set as Progressive you will get the error "current file is bad blah blah blah"
