Is the code a H5 ? Is it a AR-163 or a AR-287? Is the copier making a load noise when making a copy? Basicly, the code means you are have more then 5 paper jams in the fuser & there is a problem there & the copier is locked up.... It's self saving it self
This sounds like a fuser unit is causing the problem.
If this problem is at warm up, the fuser maybe the cause of the problem.
Turn on the machine, wait for the error code to appear. Open the side door where the fuser is located. Try to feel the area and see if it is warm, careful not to touch the heat roll itself, it can be hot.
If it is not hot, the problem area is with the unit, or the main board that controls it.
h4 errors usually accur due to a problem with the fuser it may be it over heated or the thermistor has a build up of toner on it causing irregular temp reading check to see if it is heating up by turning it on and feel the heat from the fuser unit at the back.
L4-03 is a lock of the fusing motor. It's likely you need to have the fuser rebuilt. You can try resetting the error by turning off the main power switch (located behind the front door under a little plastic cover) and back on. It's likely the error will come back. There's a cleaning screen on the lower fuser roller which gets gummed up with toner and sticks to the lower fuser roller causing it to seize and the motor not to be able to turn causing the L4-03.
Looks like a fuser problem. Re-saet the fuser. Check for pieces of paper, etc. in the path.
Service call 155: Error Defective fuse cutting of fuser Is the fuser installed correctly? Does the error recur?
Yes Reinstall the fuser after its connection connector is cleaned Turn on the power supply again If error still exists_ Replace M32 board after check the cable connection.
H4 is normally caused by the fuser taking a little longer than normal to warm up. Most of the time it is not caused by the hear rod itself. I will send you the process here is a few minutes.
Not too sure but might be that the fuser is not warming up as the sudden power loss caused the fuser lamp to blow if not then the control board has a fault.
