The condensation is due to a small amount of cold freezer air getting past the gasket. Warm the entire gasket up for a few minutes with a hair dryer and then close the door and keep it closed for 30 minutes. That will reshape your gasket and solve your problem.

I have a freezer on top GE profile arctic fridge. It heated up for 24 hour then went back down and is now hovering at 7 freezer and 42 fridge. What is wrong?

This is a common problem with the GE Artica and Profile. The mother board=> WR55X10942 Main Control Board Compressor start components and condenser or evaporator fans must also be considered in the diagnostics. If you would like to do this yourself let me know and I will be glad to help you go throgh with the testing, Thanks Sea Breeze

Brand new GE wont get cold

Sounds like the installers had to remove the doors when the unit was delivered. If they did they might not of hooked the wire harness up at the top of the door hinge or damaged the room thermisters at the top of the door hinge system. Also there is 2 magnetic switches under the top of the doors, you might check the wires on them as well.

Does not stop cooling down

Door edges being warm is caused by what is called mullion heaters that operate to prevent humidity from condensing at these points.
Some refrigerators have an energy saver switch. Turn this switch if you have one to the energy saving position when the humidity is low. Is anything freezing in the refrigerator? If so setting the controls to a little higher setting may solve your problem.
