FIRST NOTICED WATER LEAKING FROM THE ICEMAKER AND THEN TODAY I REALIZED MY FOOD IN FREEZER WAS MOSTLY DEFROSTED. IS IT THE COMPRESSOR? IT IS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD. I BOUGHT IT FROM HOME DEPOT IN FEBRUARY.
SOURCE: Freezer and Refrigerator section stopped working
check your drain line and check defrost system, defrost thermostat, heater, and timer
SOURCE: Ice maker maker horrible noise when activated
take out your ice bucket and clear all frozen water out of it only cubes should be in there if you have had a drip for several weeks you may have a big chunk in there possibly wrapped around the screew
SOURCE: icemaker not filling with water
Try
using an hairdryer or defrosting the unit completely , this often get
rid of blockage caused by frozen lines fixing the problem.
The water lines can also be unblocked from dirt using a thin flexible shaft. This after defrosting.
If all that does not fix the problem, then you may need to replace the
water valve, the icemaker solenoid, or the whole icemaker assembly.

The flow of water is controlled by a solenoid. Thus magnetic -- rather electromagnet which mones the vale from open & close, both in the ice-maker & the water dispenser.
Thus the valve which is activated when door closes, must have lost its earlier condition and must be making an irritable buzz whenever its on. Simply get the Valve assembly replaced, preferably from their authorized service center closest to your place of residence.

This problem will probably get worse with time. I had the same problem. After much trial and error I managed a repair that had I known, would have been solved for $42.00. The offending part is called the temperature control unit. It is located behind the light panel in the refrigerator section. (right side) The part number is Wpl 61005651. To install this takes patience and some dexterity. Anyone male or female can do it if you're reasonably handy. Remove the cover panel gently pulling the front down. The reach back with both hands and press in the rear while pulling the whole thing forward. you may want to remove the two top shelves to give yourself space. Now with the innards exposed you will need to remove five screws that attaches the assembly to the refrigerator. To do this you can remove the four screws in the top first. 2 Phillips head and two 1/4 inch hex head then finally removing the 1/4 inch hex head screw in the rear. The whole assembly will now tilt down. Gently unplug it from the two electrical connector attachments. reach over and pull the curled end of the temperature probe from the hole on the left that extends into the freezer. (it is not attached to anything) Now with the whole assembly loose move it to a comfortable work area. The temperature control unit is located under a plastic housing on the right side facing the unit or conversely, the left facing away. Reach under the assembly and pop the housing from the main unit. it is slotted into four holes. by simply pressing the hooks inwards and pushing up, presto. Uncurl the wire probe from its track paying attention so as to reuse the same route for the new. Remove the three electrical wires by pulling them gently straight off the pins. Make special note of which goes where; not too hard as there are only three. The housing is now in your hands. Unscrew the one screw holding the cover on then pop the temperature control unit out. Be sure to set trident fork unit on top in the same position as the old. I set mine to one of the extremes before removing the unit at all. This is done by moving the freezer temperature lever to one side or the other before starting the replacement. Now if you've been paying keen attention to the dis-assembly the re-assembly should be a piece of cake. Install the unit, route the probe, re hook the electrical wires on their respective pins, plug the unit into the two receptacles, push the curled end of the temperature control unit into the freezer section then replace five screws and panel cover. congratulations you just saved well over a thousand dollars. If you want pictures of how its done just email me at Nrbroderick at gmail and ill gladly provide them for you. Happy fixing.
The water became stale inside copper lines feeding ice
maker most likely. Dump your ice for a few times until this clears you should
have ask for some money back for copper poison, (joking) Thanks,Sea Breeze
