Question about IBM ThinkPad T22 2647 Notebook
I have a T22 Thinkpad it won't boot up even in any of the safe mode options. It goes to the screen offering 4 choices, each one does not work. They are Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, safe mode with command prompt and last known good configuration or start windows normally. Each option gives the same result. Windows couldn't start if an error in the software. Load needed DLL's for kernel.
It stops at the bootvid.dll, so I am assuming that it is the one that's corrupted.
Has anyone seen this error before?
Either you have a virus or a corrupted dll file.
eitherway, beside create a bootable CD or Floppy disk, and try to fix from there, thats' time a money.
the next best thing, is to reinsall the operating system.
the other option is get a new hard drive and install the operating system on that so you can preserve the data you have on the old one.
