then ur picture alone is getting affected,... this can be due to your hotizontal or vertical ICs that is the problem

Maybe it needs to be replaced with something more up-to-date.

you need to connect both the yellow red white cable and the hdmi cable into your ps3 and go the yellow red white av channel

go to the ps3 settings and change the video settings (ithink) to hdmi and also change the sound to hdmi

the screen will go blank and then the tv should change to the hdmi av channel if not change to it and accept the changes

its a video cable or LCD connectors. remove and re-connect again.

It looks like your TV might have a main board failure if the screen stays white without video. Since your TV is less then a year, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get fix under warranty. Most electronics devices carry one year warranty.

i am a technician and i too have this issue. if any of you can get a schematic and service notes, send them to trae3@live .com and i WILL find the problem and report to each of you. i cant get any help from sears all i need is to speak with a technician who actually works on these things, get the paperwork and then i am sure it is a matter of a module swap. any info will help us!

I do not see any reference on this problem and I even checked with Sony. If you are on a cable box, I suspect that is the problem.

Hi Sounds to me like the Tuner Module went out, this is something a qualified technician would have to fix.
