I can not get my dish remote to work my orion tv , need codes

Are you trying to program your nexxtch remote to control your receiver? If so, unfortunately you wouldn't be able to set it up like that. Only the DISH Network remote will operate the receiver. You can set up the DISH remote to control your Orion TV by holding the clear TV button until the 4 mode lights flash and then enter a code (from the website provided below) and then hit #. If the code is successful the TV light will flash 3 times.

1.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, then press 500 pound ( #)
2.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, press the big power button once.
3.) Press the channel up button once per second until the TV turns off then press pound (#).

If this doesn't work and you have an LCD TV turn off the back light. As it is probably causing interference this is found in the TV menus.

Hello! I hope that you have found a working remote. But if not, or if you still need some help, here is some information. When using the DISH remote, if that doesn't work, just follow the link below, and that will walk you through programming the remote to the tv. Sometimes, there are some codes that will work let's say, volume,. but not power on the tv. So in that case, you just need to find the code that works!!! The link below will help you do that. Here are the codes for Orion tv's for Dish Network remotes.
Orion: 694, 720, 729, 220, 221, 623, 695, 227, 754, 721.

try these codes for the orion tv:0121,0135 or 0035. good luck

You can check for fuse and fusible resistor, also horizontal output maybe shorted
