With the tv laying flat on to the screen, remove the two screws in the recessed holes. Then remove the two screws above towards the input panel, one under AUDIO-L/AUDIO-R and the one under HDMI-1. The stand should easily slide out.

To remove the stand of your TV look at the manual on page 31. The 2 holes in the center bottom has a sreew in it remove the screews and the stand should come off. Hope This helps. If not look at page 31 on the link below. you can see the 2 holes an inch above the senter of the stand.

Remove four screws on back of tv above the stand. The difficulty is that when the stand was slid onto tv base and into mounting bracket, plastic clips on the stand locked on to mounting bracket inside the tv and cannot be released without cutting or breaking them. The bracket will slide down and out of tv when you remove the four screws.

Could you please advise me how i can take the stand off my television so i can mount it on the wall??

hi there, swivel stand of the TV is all detachable by screws. try to locate them underneath or sometimes it is cover with rubber caps so it is not easily noticeable. if you remove the stand then you need to purchase a lcd wall mounted frame, I suggest the universal one for this is adjustable up to 42 inch LCD monitor. hope this helps please rate and vote.

Removing back stand supports

First I am not to sure about the brand you got there, But if it is not wall supportable you do not need to reove anything but by a wall mount that will hold the bottom in place and yes there are wall mounts for this tpye of arrangment see not all flat panels go on walls thus hence you cannot remove the stand easy. Try finding a wall mount the has a L shape to it, it will hold the bottom of the tv and it comes with a little strap to hold it back into securement. Please do not try to remove the stand I would suggest a diffrent wall mount- Rulds2008 TV expert for 20 years

I am trying to remove the stand on a LG Model : 52LB5D. I have removed the 4 screws on the back but can't remove stand. It feels like there is another screw or something holding it in.

If you are looking at the back of your tv there is the stand bracket with a screw on each side. remove those screws and nothing will happen. that is the problem i was having but if you look right above the ones you just took out and there is going to be a black screw. take those off from each side and it will fall off.

I can not remove the bottom stand off the Proscan TV Model 26LB30QD to mount on wall. Any suggestions?

I have this model (ProScan 26LB30QD) and recently removed the base. There are 4 phillips head screws on the rear panel of the TV just above the base. Remove them, pull the TV from the base, and replace the screws in case you need to use the base in the future. I suspect the problem others are having is that they only removed 2 of the screws.
