While we're trying to watch TV, our Panasonic PT-AX200U HD projector will sometimes start alternating from a green screen to a blue screen and then to snow, and finally back to a normal picture. It's irritating when it happens right in the middle of something we want to see! Any idea what gives? The screen is 80 inches.

The projector is five years old and out of warranty. And it's been doing this for the whole time (five years or so). I'll check the power supply and see if there's anything wrong with it.

You are experiencing Power Fluxuation. The Power Supply seems to be going out or on the way out... How old is the TV? Is it still under warranty?

It sounds like your TV/monitor is losing the video feed. That's why it displays 'Video' - the label assigned to the input - so you'll know the TV is turned on but missing the input. You would get the same response from the TV if you turned the DVD off. I'd look at the integrity of the video connection from the DVD.

Try running the audio from each video source (NOT the TV, which is an output, not a source) to the HTR digitally so you'll get the best mutichannel sound possible. Then you can turn the TV speakers (assuming it has them) off for hi-end watching.

It's the nature of the beast. The TV has to process the digital video bitstream more than the receiver has to process the audio so the result can be a gradual lagging of the video behind the sound...

Some receivers have a sound delay control which you can use to try to sync them up. You didn

The main board of the projector needs replacement! not worth getting it replaced as it would cost very high! look out for a old working board that would cost lower!

Panasonic PT-AX200U projector. input display flashes on and off.

It could be your source and not the projector. If it is a laptop then hit function four and change how it shares display. Over all I need more info as to how it is plugged in and what you are trying to view from.

I just replace the lamp in my projector and it is still darker in the middle of the screen. It appears there may be dust on the internal lense but I do not know how to get to it.

It seems that most everyone who owns the Panasonic PT-AX200U has this problem. I believe it is on the lens inside on the glass. I'm not sure how to get to it either. Maybe this forum will help.I'm going to read it now. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/archive/index.php/t-1166504.html

PT-AX200U Bulb replaced 4 months ago Was on about

carefully take the lamp cover off, and see if there is any glass pieces inside. if all looks Ok, then unscrew the lamp housing and remove the lamp. check for any damage. be careful not to damage the lamp or bump it. These lamps generally contain mercury vapour, so try not to inhale anything if it's broken.

your projector is detecting it is overheating, check that nothing is blocking the vents and that the fans are not clogged. If the vents and fans are dirty clean thema paintbrush and hoover. If they arent then the lamp maybe the culprit

I have a panasonic pt l500u, just started getting large yellow spot in middle of screen- looks like a giant finger print. Bulb was replaced less than two months ago.

Hi:

The problem here is the one of the miniature LCD screens in the unit is faulty, in this case its the blue one. There are three of them inside the unit RED<GRN<BLUE. The blue seems to be failing in your unit, for instance if you mix red and green you get yellow. Have a local shop service the unit and clean and refocus the unit back to factory spec's..
