While we're trying to watch TV, our Panasonic PT-AX200U HD projector will sometimes start alternating from a green screen to a blue screen and then to snow, and finally back to a normal picture. It's irritating when it happens right in the middle of something we want to see! Any idea what gives? The screen is 80 inches.

It sounds like your TV/monitor is losing the video feed. That's why it displays 'Video' - the label assigned to the input - so you'll know the TV is turned on but missing the input. You would get the same response from the TV if you turned the DVD off. I'd look at the integrity of the video connection from the DVD.

Try running the audio from each video source (NOT the TV, which is an output, not a source) to the HTR digitally so you'll get the best mutichannel sound possible. Then you can turn the TV speakers (assuming it has them) off for hi-end watching.

It's the nature of the beast. The TV has to process the digital video bitstream more than the receiver has to process the audio so the result can be a gradual lagging of the video behind the sound...

The projector is five years old and out of warranty. And it's been doing this for the whole time (five years or so). I'll check the power supply and see if there's anything wrong with it.
