I have a Bunn Ultra 2 machine it was working fine last week I left it running and when I went and looked at it yesterday it had shut off and would not start up. I unplugged it from the outlet and it started for about 2 seconds and shut off. There was no power to the display on the machine so I unplugged it again and when I plugged it back in it ran for 2 seconds and shut off again. Again no power to the display

Was it hot? the compressor may be overheated and went into shutdown until it cools. it's safety feature if the fan stops or if the airflow is blocked by too much dust. clean the filter, check the fan, and try again. if it's not hot, it's the transformer that powers the main circuit board.

SOURCE: no power

Check the top of the tank, there may be 2 thermostats, one that sits on the tank and the other is in line with the element. One of those are not working.

SOURCE: Hi! I got a new Bunn VPR last week but did not

We just got a Bunn also. After you pour the cold water in the hot water comes out quick because it has 2 different water holding tanks. After you pour in the cold,it lets out the hot thats been being heated sense the last time your poured in cold. While you are drinking the hot coffee you can hear it heating up the cold you just put in it.Then after a short time it gets quiet and keeps that water hot till you make more coffee. It always has hot water waiting for you. Thats why its so fast at brewing the coffee. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Started making a Skeechy sound after making coffee.

It is possible there is a problem with the tank heater. Please get the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine. Then contact customer service with this information. The brewer contains a 3 year warranty and if your brewer is 3 years or less will be replaced at no cost. If it is over 3 years, then it will be replaced at a reduced cost.

SOURCE: I have an Ultra 2 bunn slush machine. One hopper

make sure it's mixed properly. if there is toomuch water, it'll freeze solid. if the mix is too rich, ice will form on the outside of the bowls. you may also have a low refrigerant level.

Bunn Ultra 2 slushee machine not freezing

Hmm, that's definitely a problem! From what I understand, the Bunn Ultra-2 slushy machine is supposed to freeze evenly on both sides. So if it's only freezing on one side, there could be a few different things going on. It could be an issue with the refrigerant level, the solenoid, or the optical sensors. Can you tell me a bit more about the symptoms of the problem? For example, is the side that's not freezing completely warm, or is it just not getting as cold as the other side?

I have a bunn ultra 2 machine and when I plug it in it turns on but after a few seconds right after augers start to turn it shuts down, what might that be

hi, from my experience 1. the main board/ecu may have a faulty solenoid. there are two solenoids on the board, 1 for each side. if the left auger works, then it's the right solenoid. its close to im[possible to replace the solenoids unless u have good connections to china!!
2. the right motor auger in the back might have a fault or bad electrical connection, very rare.
exchange the electrical connections to the motor from left to right and vice versa. then you know what is faulty.
3. good luck
4. you can order mainboards/ecu's at bunn.com. they r reasonable priced

Left side of Bunn Ultra "ice" mode is in lower case but right side "ICE" mode is in upper case?

upper case means it is still trying to slush. lower case means it has reached designated slush thickness

Why can't you use Pepsi or Coke in a Bunn Ultra 2 machine

the brix level (syrup to water ratio) may be too low, which will cause it to ice too quickly and cause damage.

Left side error torque

More than likely a bad shaft,Part # 32449.0000.This machine when there is a problem tells you exactly what part went bad.Could also be the torque sensor board,Part #27939.1000.Alot of the problems stem from not lubricating the front nose seal (auger).

Hi! I got a new Bunn VPR last week but did not run water through it because I was waiting for our maintenance guy to install a GTRI outlet for it. When he installed the outlet on Saturday he plugged in...

It sounds as though the thermal cutout has been put to the test and it didn't pass. I would advise you to try to get the company that the repairman works for to replace the entire machine, after all it is brand new and changing parts at this venue could void the warantee.
