SOURCE: cant rurn on my my washing machine

Have you tried a simple reset, by unplugging, waiting several minutes and then replugging it in? Is it plugged into a gfi outlet? is the little red button pushed in? It should be. It hasn't flipped a breaker off has it?

SOURCE: lg tromm front loader washing machine display panel reading l-E.

error code 'IE' means water does not enter the detergent drawer..if your water is hard or contains traces of lime deposits, the water inlet filter may become clogged..regular cleaning is suggested..clean the filter using hard bristle brush..

note: hard water is the one not undergone any treatment..in other words it is directly from the ground through your water pump and to the washer.

SOURCE: LG wash machine # wm 2277 hb front loader display flashes LE wont

We had the OE message come up and did the above procedures...that didn't fix it. I removed the dual pump modules (they come off in one piece...one is the recirculating pump, the other is the drain pump). Turns out, the drain pump impeller design sucks. Even though it turned when I put power to the pump, that doesn't mean your pump isn't bad. Once it is under load pumping water, the impeller can slip where the pin connects to it from the motor. We replaced the motor for $60 and that fixed the problem. Our unit is at least three years old and we have a family of four, so it does get used quite often. Nobody told us about the filter at the bottom of the unit and I figure if we knew this ahead of time, we probably could have avoided the impeller issue...but it is still a sub-par designed motor/impeller. The new one I ordered looks like an updated design so I don't see this happening again. It is quite easy to remove and replace the pump, btw.

How do I open to remove the water on an LG tromm front load washing machine to repair/replace the pump?

LG machines normally have a small diameter rubber pipe folded up in the drain pump basket area on the lower left side of the front panel.
Pull out the pipe and remove the small plastic end stopper to allow the water in the tub to drain.

Leaking water from my lg front loader during washing cycle- wm2487hrm

Hi,

The problem is due to the rubber boot is been torn that is causing you the leak. You have to check the rubber boot for leaks by removing the clamp assembly that secures the rubber boot to the outer lip of the door opening. Peel off the rubber boot then inspect it for any holes where it may be leaking. The rubber boot in your washer can be accessed only when you remove the front panel. This requires the removal first of the top panel then the console. Also check your inlet hoses on the outside of machine, also check the connections inside the panel in back.

Thank you !!

How do you remove the front panel on LG model # DLG0452W . I want to replace the igniter glow.

Disconnect the washer from the power source. Use a putty knife blade to release the locks of the top panel. Insert the putty knife blade in the seam between the top panel and the front panel about 2 3/4" from the edges. Push until the locks are released and lift the top panel.

Open the door and remove the 2 screws from the bottom of the door opening. Remove the 2 screws from the upper side of the front panel and pull the front panel out. Disconnect the door switch connector and remove the front panel completely.

Something is stuck in our LG front loader washing machine so the water wont empty in the spin cycle

There should be two screws under the front lower panel. Remove the two screws and remove the lower panel. You should be able to access the pump from here.
Inscrew the cover on the front of the pump and clean.
