SOURCE: cant rurn on my my washing machine
Have you tried a simple reset, by unplugging, waiting several minutes and then replugging it in? Is it plugged into a gfi outlet? is the little red button pushed in? It should be. It hasn't flipped a breaker off has it?

error code 'IE' means water does not enter the detergent drawer..if your water is hard or contains traces of lime deposits, the water inlet filter may become clogged..regular cleaning is suggested..clean the filter using hard bristle brush..
note: hard water is the one not undergone any treatment..in other words it is directly from the ground through your water pump and to the washer.

We had the OE message come up and did the above procedures...that didn't fix it. I removed the dual pump modules (they come off in one piece...one is the recirculating pump, the other is the drain pump). Turns out, the drain pump impeller design sucks. Even though it turned when I put power to the pump, that doesn't mean your pump isn't bad. Once it is under load pumping water, the impeller can slip where the pin connects to it from the motor. We replaced the motor for $60 and that fixed the problem. Our unit is at least three years old and we have a family of four, so it does get used quite often. Nobody told us about the filter at the bottom of the unit and I figure if we knew this ahead of time, we probably could have avoided the impeller issue...but it is still a sub-par designed motor/impeller. The new one I ordered looks like an updated design so I don't see this happening again. It is quite easy to remove and replace the pump, btw.
