These are removal instructions should be helpful though

Open up the panel on the back of the TV which covers the various input connections. At the bottom of the area previously covered, there are 8 screws (two rows of four screws). Remove them, and the entire stand should now slide right out of the TV. You can then replace the screws back in their holes, so you don't lose them. You do not need to disassemble the stand to do this.

I need to know how to remove the bottom from my Toshiba Regza TV so that I can put it on a wall mount.

What you need to do is with the model number GOOGLE to see if you can find a service manual or even a owners manual.

Most of these sets you carefully lay the set on a padded surface face down and look at back-----should be four or more recessed holes with bolts that secure the base to the back/bottom of the set.

Most of these also you have to remove that base to get the back off which is a hint---usually no small screws but bolts.

Hope this helps you

Picture remains for few seconds then screen goes blank, sound remains on

I had this problem on my 42" Philips LCD. Just got it yesterday and worked fine on the tv stand. As soon as I mounted the TV to the wall via wall mount system, I had the exact same issue you did. Figured it out today.

The wall mount was putting pressure against the center of the back of the tv (tv set had a slightly rounded back plate, and the mount was a flat plate). As soon as I put spacers (part of the wall mount hardware set) between the wall mount braket and the tv so there was no contact except at the mounting holes, the tv worked fine.

My theory is the pressure pushed the tv back plate against some board components which caused them to overheat (no air flow); or put pressure on internal connectors. I dont know.

Hope this helps, may not apply to your situation.

Screen goes blank after 2 minutes

Your best bet is to take the back off and look if there are and bulged capacitors on the power supply first, also look for cold solder joints on the 24 volt rail that goes to the HV inverter board. If both seem to be ok then you could have a inverter transformer going bad on the inverter board. Let me know how you do>

Removing the stand on Insignia LCD 26F TV

My insignia 26 inch dvd combo TV stand can be removed by removing the access cover to your input connection. There are eleven black phillip-head screws. The three bottom screws also hold the plastic base cover in place. Remove all eleven screws and pull the stand out from below. The four philip-head screws on the back center of the TV is for the location of the wall bracket mount. Good luck.

I am trying to remove the stand on a LG Model : 52LB5D. I have removed the 4 screws on the back but can't remove stand. It feels like there is another screw or something holding it in.

If you are looking at the back of your tv there is the stand bracket with a screw on each side. remove those screws and nothing will happen. that is the problem i was having but if you look right above the ones you just took out and there is going to be a black screw. take those off from each side and it will fall off.

All you need to do is remove the two long screws on the back of the tv panel just above the stand, then the two short back panel screws AND the three short screws just above the two panel screws and the stand will come right off. DO NOT remove any of the other screws in the perimeter of the back panel. There is no need.
After much trial and error this is the correct and EASY procedure for this apparently troublesome task. Good Luck !!
