There is a knocking sound coming from bottom of machine when belt moves.

I tripped while walking on the treadclimber in treadmill mode. My foot was caught in the middle between the two belts, and the belts stopped momentarily. I immediately stopped the machine, and got off. Once I restarted the machine and began walking on the belts. a loud knocking sound was heard coming from the bottom of the machine. I also see a red light on the right bottom side of the machine.

The treadclimber is a nonsense scam and they are the cheapest made product on the market. You are better off throwing that thing in the trash than paying to have it fixed.

SOURCE: When walking in my Bow Flexn as in regular

If belt hesitates or slips when walking on unit it may be caused by either a loose walking belt or a loose drive belt. To determine the cause perform the following test: Stand beside Tread-Climber® fitness machine and set speed to 2 MPH. Step on one treadle and attempt to stop movement. If one belt stops but roller at rear and other belt continue to turn walking belt tension should be adjusted. If both belts stop but motor is still turning the drive belt tension should be adjusted.
Adjust walking belt tension at the front of the unit using the provided hex wrench on the exposed adjustment bolts located on each side of each front roller. Be sure to adjust both bolts on each roller the same amount as to not disrupt belt alignment. Tighten (turn clockwise) each adjustment bolt in full turn increments. After each adjustment, restart unit and check to see if belt slippage has been eliminated. Repeat if necessary.

SOURCE: we canNOT get the belt

Can you describe your machine type (TC5000, for example) and what you've done to try and reposition the belt? Also which belt are you referring to? The treadle belt or the motor belt? I just went through a complete deck/walking belt replacement, and it's not for the faint of heart. Needed to dismantle almost 85% of the machine.

Why is there a clicking noise coming from beneath walking belt?

because your belt has dirt on both end part of the underneath of running belt. to remove that noise you need to clean it by using a clean wet towel. scrub it until all the dirt would remove. dry it and its done. you can now use your treadmill

Walking Belt Fraying

The bow flex tc5 is an overpriced piece of equipment. The build quality is not great. There are ongoing documented problems with the belts fraying on this model. You can always order a new belt or adjust the side (loosening or tightening) your primary foot stepping side, but I would call bow flex and demand a new belt or replacement. You can mention there is a "risk of fall" due to poor workmanship. This will get their attention and you may even get a new treadmill or at least free belt. Call Bow flex customer service at 1-800-436-6549.

Treadclimber centering

Dear Sir:
ecalibrate the machine if speed is not registering, belts stop turning or the display readout shows an "err, LS, OS" on the face. Calibrate the TreadClimber by plugging it in. Stand on the foot platforms, or floor mat. Do not stand on the walking belt. Insert the safety key. Press the "start" key when "CAL/PRSS/STRT" shows on the readout. If readout fails to show the "CAL/PRSS/STRT" symbol, turn off machine and turn it back on. Press "ENTER" and then "DOWN SPEED" at the same time until "CAL/PRSS/STRT" shows up on the display. Belts will start and stop during the calibration; do not be alarmed. Do not make any adjustments or interrupt the display of numbers as the unit goes through the calibrations. When the machine is finished calibrating, the readout will display "CAL...PASS" and you can press the "POWER" key to get out of the calibration section.

sincerely. God bless you.
